I'm not reading back through to see if this has been mentioned, so I'll just assume I win the thread:
Appreciate the suggestion, but I can't do straight up country. Folky, bluesy, hippy country I can do. (but for country songs, that is a pretty good one)
USA women's PK shooting: "I don't always shoot on target, but when I do, I put zero pace on the ball"
Nettdaddy wins for Thunderstruck, but I'll throw in a couple along those lines that haven't been mentioned. Still my second favorite song ever: So far ahead of their time. Stretching the decade. This was just unlike anything else.
So many great songs..Going to submit one of my personal favorites. How could you not want to sing or dance when this comes on?
Oh it's on. Bring on the Cheese! OK. This is the last one. I think my cock is trying to crawl into my ass. G'night TIB. EDIT: Snuck in some eighties.
I am sad that all of the great suggestions and walk down nostalgia lane are going to end at the end of this WDT. Personally I have had a great time looking through and reading all of the suggestions. I wonder if a tread dedicated to awesome 90s songs would fly here.
A little late to the party. I skimmed the last few pages and didn't see this included, so I just had to throw this in there.
So the focus is kickass music from the '90s, huh? I can do that! For me, the '90s were all about grunge. The '90s were about grunge, but they were also about acid/stoner rock:
And sometimes the '90s are about punk rock: Or just straight-up, kickass rock (when I first heard this song, I thought it was about vampires. Pm me if you're confused about why):
Sorry to be late to the party and drag this forward ten pages but seriously someone slept with your Mr. Bean looking ass?!? Oh, and my twins have returned to their mothers. I have to be up for work in three and a half hours, but I will drink my Natty and enjoy the piece and quite anyway.
Nom had it right she came right back. If fact I just got done fucking her about 30 mins ago. All is right in the world again. Bean is a pimp by the way my green rope brother Twins gotta be big by now knowing your big ass. Are they playing on the D line for the Baltimore ravens yet?
Admittedly I am a Metallica freak. This comes from the 90s, and I respect it... mainly because it is about killing the girl. WHAT?!?1 Bring it!! Most beautiful thing I've ever heard. Yeah, my taste is weird. Yeah, I am fucking fucked in half.
I have rediscovered so many awesome songs thanks to Mya's contest. However, no mention of the 90's can pass without Bush - Glycerine and Everclear - Santa Monica . Not even close to the best song of either band, but probably the most immediately recognizable.
