    Ugh, stupid fights with the wife make me need to start to drink earlier in the day.

    The wife and I have a lot of shit to get done today (shopping, cleaning, etc), but it is almost 1 in the afternoon and she is still in her pajamas, watching news coverage of Irene. This has the makings of being one of those days where she doesn't even get off the couch to shower until around 5 PM, then complains that she doesn't have time to get anything done. I hate these days, because I'll remind her that if she got ready earlier, we'd have finished everything, but she won't want to hear it, so we'll end up annoyed with each other. She also got angry when I reminded her of all we'd planned to do today, and that she agreed to help her mom can some tomatoes.

    Fuck it, I'm getting wasted.

    Alright, so I guess I spoke too soon about then overhyping this fucking Irene thing. I guess a tornado hit Sandbridge Beach destroying 5 homes and damaging several others. The worst area hit was the 3300 block of Sandpiper Road. Guess where we have rented a house for our family reunion?

    If you guessed on the 3300 block of Sandpiper Road you win one destroyed beach house and 14 disappointed people. I shouldn't whine because it is just my vacation that is ruined (likely) and not my real house, but allow me a few moments to feel sorry for us.
