    I went to the booze store over my lunch hour for last minute camping trip supplies... Knob Creek, Cutty Sark, and Tanqueray oughta do the trick for a week in da bush. A nice little variety.

    All I need now is a couple tins of Macanudos and I am SET!

    I don't usually drink Wildcat Strong, because it tastes like sand.

    But whatever money I didn't spend on the move to Vancouver has to be saved for upcoming tuition payments, so a 6 pack of 6.1% beer for under $11 sounds pretty damn good to me.

    (That's probably an outrageous price to you 'Mericans, but up here it's a hell of a deal.)

    Since I know that everybody has been spending sleepless nights wondering what I decided to do about my work situation, I said something to the doctor and just phrased is as "should I have done something differently? Because I thought that we had done all the scheduling properly, we checked. I guess it just got overlooked with "nurse" was putting together your schedule. I just want to make sure that something like that doesn't happen in the future". And know we have another step to keep it from occuring again. So no drama, but I think I got my point across that the error did not originate from me. So a good outcome, I think.

    Often, in high tension, office related incidents, I find myself thinking, "What would Rambo do?"

    So you went behind the back of the person who (sounds like) holds the most informal power in the office to talk to the bossman who doesn't really want to deal with issues but just relies in this henchnurse to make everything ok?

    Not what I would've done....

    Unless you're wanting to go toe to toe with her...which would be kind of awesome. When she approaches you next, and she will, whether it's directly regarding this issue or not, interrupt her 2-3 sentences in and say "Listen, we both know what's going on..with the doctor and with the schedule and the putting out. Well, there's a new nurse in town..it's Go Time, bitch".
