You and I should not hang out and drink together.

In other news, yesterday I went to a beer festival and jumped on a bouncy castle that was set up for children. Bouncy castles are still awesome.

Yes, yes they are. I'm the only parent who gets in there and starts throwing children. It makes me very popular with the boys. Sure, they are all under ten, but I have a blast.

FYI, you don't need to throw 10 year old boys around to be very popular in a bouncy castle.

Gumball 3000 passed through Toronto on Friday night and we ended up stopping by before heading to the bar. I’m not a car fanatic, but I got a lot of photos on my phone. People were crowding the street and I was so close that I couldn’t get the whole vehicle in pictures like these:

We found a spot where the cars were parked and I got some better shots.

And, yes, the car in the last picture does have duct tape on it.

I've never heard of it before. A friend suggested that we check it out since is we close to the bar we were going to. I expected something indoors with models.

Finally made it back to the states last night after a week in the Dominican Republic, and boy did I miss the Internet. And consistent air conditioning, regular American food and decent service from someone who actually speaks English. The beach and the pools were pretty awesome, though.

Got engaged too, so that's pretty exciting.

I do not mind suburbia, I grew up in it. It's different up here, maybe. Our houses look different from one another and we have trees and shit but I will live anywhere that there is a lack of cyclists. "YOU DON'T OWN THE ROAD MOTORISTS BLAH BLAH CAPTAIN PLANET BLAH..."

Except Amsterdam. That I would make an exception for, though its hard to own a car there anyway.

*sigh* Got a talking-to at church again. Apparently rolling in with the roof off blasting Sex Bomb isn't what "good girls" do. These lectures are getting a bit old.

Tom Jones still passes for an influence of corruption?

I thought that Team Heathen had made more progress in the culture war than that.

"Sex Bomb"? I had to YouTube that. Angel, is this what you rock? Seriously? I thought the only people who liked TJ were over 55.

I don't think anyone will disagree with that.

And maybe it is just the song's music video that is so off-putting.

It's true, I listen to a little Tom Jones from time to time. Sex Bomb is a great song! I also sometimes play Copacabana. Hey, it can't always be metallica and godsmack.
