    To my knowledge, "gummy dicks" aren't a very marketable candy.

    I havent had a full meal since Tuesday at lunch, but I have had the weirdest week and need a few beers tonight. I wish I was in any other part of Costa Rica where that would mean Im set for a really fun night, but Im pretty sure its going to wind up with me completely drunk off of, like, 2 Imperials and watching the awesome English-language channel that shows one random episode from a random season of a random American show after another for a few hours and LOVING IT.

    Sorry, I shouldnt boast.

    The biggest problem with my night is that now I NEED some gummy bears, and Im probably not going to be able to find them.

    I'm pissed. This will be my most un-American 4th ever. I'm spending time with the inlaws, who are recovering alcoholics, so I can't get drunk. And they live in E. WA, which is a dry tinderbox, so I can't even blow anything up! On the bright side, I'm borrowing a friend's 2-man outrigger canoe, which the GF and I will be paddling all over the lake her folks live on. 20 mile workout in the relative warmth? Yes please!
