I fuck Jane Rottencrotch with the clap but by some miracle don’t get it from her. I decide I’m going to tempt fate again and fuck her fellow street walker Susie, but end up getting HIV and her pregnant with an AIDS baby because I busted in her for an extra $50. I go complain to her pimp, who beats the shit out of her for “breaking the rules”. Then the pimp writes me a script for some penicillin because he feels bad for me, but he has a background in pharmaceuticals because he worked the checkout at a CVS before getting fired for stealing NyQuil and Robitussin.

I don’t have any more breadcrumbs, but I tried.

Yeah, because we'll do everything but the simple and logical thing that is fast tracking their legal status so we don't have to bother with these half-assed schemes anymore. God forbid we offend the morons who think green card = voter.

Reproductive rights are so important. I have 2 close friends who could have died - one who had an ectopic pregnancy and another with a missed miscarriage that didn’t respond well to medication and caused her to start hemorrhaging, requiring a D&C. Both were wanted pregnancies and neither were viable. Elective abortion is also an important option but abortion bans affect so much more than just that.

Of course. I wasn’t making a personal value judgment on abortion or any of the other issues, I was just simply stating (read: speculating) what the general voting populace are prioritizing if the Republicans win.

PBS just had a chart that tracked the results of the myriad "election deniers" in the midterms, and it was just a huge r/boringdystopia moment. The image of a anodyne news program creating a graphics package to track the progress of enemies of the United States.

On the topic of voter referendums, I pettily voted against two referendums to legalize various types of sports betting/online gambling. This was primarily based on the few times I've pirated a sports stream out of the UK and have seen how plastered with gambling ads those broadcasts are. It's depressing as fuck; an island of gambling addicts over there.

Also, they sometimes use an SSN that isn’t theirs, and work until they get caught, and then go and get another one. I’m not trying to make a political argument about this, it’s just what my friend literally deals with on his fruit farm. The business files the paperwork legally, they let the guy go when the SSN is revealed to not be his, then file the paperwork legally again when he brings the “good” one. Fruit’s gotta be picked, and the locals ain’t doing it unless their last name is on the sign for the farm.

Yeah, stolen SSN's are common, but they can't obtain a real one for themselves, which was the question Rush had.

Based on the results so far, looks to me that the normies don't like a bunch of right wing election denying nutjobs either. I'm really hopeful this means fewer dipshits like MTG and Boebert in office, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

That all being said, I'm going to laugh my balls off if the Democrats manage hold on to control both the House and Senate.

As I write this the Republicans are projected to end up with a 3-seat majority in the House. That's a small enough number to have been determined by the fact that Ohio Republicans defied both the Ohio Supreme Court and a US District Court to implement district maps determined to be unconstitutional. They ran out the clock until the District Court threw up its hands and let them use the illegal maps on the logic that if they didn't, Ohio would have no Congressional elections at all. So we may end up in a situation where the US House switches from investigating Jan 6, to running constant sham investigations, because of the completely illegal actions of the Ohio Republicans.

MTG easily won reelection, because Georgians are sister-fucking trash people, but Boebert is currently trailing with 80+% of the vote in, so there's hope there.

Not you in particular. The royal southern idiot. The ones who literally used their eyes to watch Hershel Walker flash a fake police badge at a debate and decided to vote for that brain damaged assclown anyway.

I sit, with used toilet paper in one hand and my SC vote in other, wondering which is more useless. People in Georgia apparently in my situation go "TASTE TEST!" and start with the used toilet paper.

I think demographically GA is a bit of a mirage to the democrats: large black population, one or two major cities, and the folks there skew more educated than say in AL or SC. So, the Democrats seem to have a chance there, especially one that hinges on African American voters.

However, the religious element has deep roots there, and in recent years, the state has done everything it could to disenfranchise African-American voters.

The Republican strategy is insidious: with an African-American candidate, they split the black vote, despite said candidate being.....less than optimal, especially with Abrams being a candidate for governor, as opposed to running for the Senate seat.
