These videos from the Mastriano watch party are amazing. https://twitter.com/ryanjreilly/status/1590321101984628736?s=46&t=gGf9GrVmbfPhYGduoGo4Hw
Here is the map showing Jordan’s gerrymandered district in Ohio, stabbing the state like a giant anal hook. LOL. What a bunch of fucking cheaters:
I think more and more people are in that boat, which is good. I mean, Trump complaining and saying “usually what would happen is when they do well I won’t be given any credit, and if they do badly they will blame everything on me” - okay, we can discuss that. But saying “well, I think if they win, I should get all the credit, and if they lose, I should not be blamed at all” - fuck off, those aren’t the same things.
I have a simple solution, "Congress shall elect no members too old to live with the consequences of their legislation".
That's the old district map when I WASN'T in what everyone called the Duck district. Here is the new map that was rejected by the state supreme court 5 times, but was still allowed to be used. The blue section in the middle is Columbus, and that teeny tiny carve-out just above it is where I live.
As of a few minutes ago, Boebart's loss is still to early to call. She's behind by about 7k votes, but the areas still yet to call in are places she's favored. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive...ons/results-colorado-us-house-district-3.html
Ok the joke doesn't really work because Pitkin County is like 75% Democrat and already 95% reported, but I want this, so let me have it.
Another successful libertarian run for office that led to nothing but millions more in government spending.
Time to answer my own question. The "my best friend is Black" strategy didn't pay the dividends they expected, as expected. But still, outside the major pop centers GA is enough of a Southern state that even the least qualified (R) can still go far. It could've been a ficus plant and they still would've voted for it.
I'm a bit late, but just read that Fetterman won PA. That takes *some* of the sting out of all the Texas shit. PA has zero direct impact on me, but holy fuck do all my in-laws love them some dr. oz. If I can't be happy, they should at least get to be sad. Wait a sec... that sounds like a republican thing to say
Did well enough to trigger a runoff, no? It's more a question of which demographic he won over, and that's only a question if you believe he was chosen for his appeal to rural GA whites.
I read that as, unmarried women are such for a reason, they don't want to be tied down especially by government force.
gas prices don’t have anything to do with the elections, unless they drop and you like the guy in office.
