Are you referring to the technicality that the surface gets slightly warm because a small amount of heat is conducted back from the pan to the surface?

If you're talking some scrambled eggs, then yes, the surface will be "slightly warm" If you simmered a sauce for several hours, it will be "burn the shit out of you warm".

Induction has a lot of advantages but it also has a lot of faults.
    You need ferrous metal cookware.
No visual heat indication like gas has.
    Sucks for wok cooking.
Can't use it when the power goes out.
It pulls a lot of juice and if you tend to cook a lot of items at once, you'll see decreased performance.

I sold a LOT of induction cooktops in the past and while some customers preferred them, more of them either went back to gas or wished they had put gas in.

True, but the same is true of a gas grate if you hit it with an open flame for a few hours as well.

No one is claiming that a gas stove doesn't retain residual heat. But, keep on keepin' on

The point was a comparison to an electric resistive stove. Both gas and induction are much cooler than a resistive, although they will eventually get hot if you leave them on long enough.

I find the best use for an induction element is as a standalone single pan portable cook surface.

I use one A TON in my RV because I can just run a power cord to the table outside and use the campsite power rather than use my finite propane supply.

Gotta give him credit in being consistent in “doing his own research” though.

You'll forgive me if I simply never again wanna hear any shit about "dysfunctional Dems" or whatever misbehavior they allegedly overlook. Not until this asshole is publicly drummed out.

Pour out a 40oz for Al Franken and Katie Hill.

Does anyone think that this guy might be a Democrat plant to discredit the Republicans?

Because this is getting beyond insane.

Remember when the Dems were giving campaign money to radical Republican candidates, because they figured that they would be easier to beat?

Is the clown world we're living in now?

No, because Dems were only trying to get the super crazies to win in the primaries because they knew if they did that, they would be much better positioned to win in the general election. Getting one of them to actually win a general election? With how close the margins are in the house, it wouldn't really serve them any purpose.

SCOTUS just announced they were unable to ascertain the identity of the Dobbs leaker. It's been pretty funny how literally everyone is interpreting that as "oh, so they confirmed it was Alito."

I am not a fan of Hillary Clinton, but Trump having to pay her a million dollars over a frivolous lawsuit he filed is hilarious.

Yeah, they beat him to death in the streets. Usually they don’t die, so it’s not considered a big deal. It’s not like this sort of police beating isn’t a daily occurrence in your country.

Pence and Biden being a bit sloppy with classified material and returning them promptly upon discovery? Probably a normal occurrence. Trump literally stealing documents and hiding them from authorities? Definitely not.
