Districts wouldn't need to be redrawn. For example instead of having 5 single-member districts, you would have one large 5-member district. In these scenarios you don't have "a" representative, you have multiple, from a mix of parties that roughly match the preferences of your fellow district residents.

Oh I see, so it would combine existing districts into larger ones instead of splitting the existing ones. I guess it depends on design. Hopefully something thoughtfully crafted so we don’t end up like the Weimar Republic.

Ronald Reagan, Hillary Clinton, Strom Thurmond, Aaron Burr all switched parties at some point. It's not new. I think Thurmond was the only one of those to do if after being elected by the other party, though.

The Tangerine Tyrant has switched parties numerous times. Granted, it wasn’t post-election, but it was specifically to get elected.

It's fine to change parties before an election. It's BS when done after someone has won an election.

Hillary Clinton changed party affiliations when she was 21. I would argue that counts more as "developing your political ideology" than "switching party affiliations".

    I completely agree.

If you're elected to office and then your political ideologies develop, do you switch parties, or do you just always vote "the other way"? I don't have the answer for that. I think if you switch parties, and the constituents you serve think you pulled the ol' switcheroo on them, you won't get re-elected.

It's weird to think of Dominion Voting Systems walking away with $787.5 million as them bitching out, but here we are.

It’s a faster and more painless way of objectively proving that Fox News is a piece of shit that only spreads lies. And now they’ve officially admitted to it by settling.

The problem with them bitching is is the lawsuit won’t cripple Fox, which is what we all really wanted out of this.

It didn't prove shit, because now the facts that would've spread far and wide will only make it to today's headlines and will soon be buried. This is nothing but a moral victory, useless and ineffective. Fox themselves didn't even bother to mention it, because why? Their audience doesn't care and now they'll never have to.

No, because if they'd gone through with the suit, the Fox fuckheads would have to testify that they KNEW it was all bullshit.

NOW lots of people will think Dominion settled because THEY didn't have a case

I wonder if there is more at play here.

I really wanted to see Cucker Carlson eat shit.

Well, that’s how Fix and their abject retardation followers will spin it, because they are a cult of abject retards. Tucker Carlson viewers mostly consist people who will die of old age two hours from now, or have a big open ziplock bag of airplane glue in their hand.

Who the fuck cares what they think. Keep them in their little bubble.

It matters because those dipshits show up the vote "R" every time, for every election, unlike the woke rainbow army that the Dems keep trying to pander to.

Seriously, if the Dems just cut out all of this woke bullshit, would they really lose that many voters? In fact, don't you think they might even gain some independents who feel alienated by all of the woke /LGBTQWHOGIVESAFUCK messaging that they're pushing these days?

I'm not saying that the Dems go AGAINST those people/ groups, just stop pandering to them and actually try to make this country a better place.

EDIT: And like I said before, I really feel like there is more going on here. From what I've read, Dominion had a slam dunk case against Fox.
Yeah, $700+ million is nothing to sneeze at, but they could have gotten twice that, AND restored their name.
There had to have been some kind of back-door deal, or some kind of external pressure on Dominion.

I'll check in with y'all about what talking points Dana Loesch and Brian Kilmead gloat about tomorrow.

No, because it's people in their "little bubble" that elect the Boeberts and Greenes and Jordans that plague us today. It's actually important that these people SEE their emperor is naked if the bubble is ever to burst. You're not from around here, are you?
