    I'm getting the feeling that this presser is the worst possible outcome. His answers are coherent, but soft spoken, and he's made a few gaffes. Not good enough to dispel worries about his age, not bad enough to convince him he needs to drop out.

    I thought it was interesting that he’s up there saying he’s in it for good, and the CNN chyron says “BREAKING NEWS: PRES. BIDEN SAYS ‘I WOULDN’T HAVE PICKED HARRIS IF SHE COULDN’T BE PRESIDENT’”

    In local democracy news, I went to a town meeting. I was the second youngest person there, and only because someone had dragged their teenage son along. When you look out over that sea of grey and white hair, you begin to understand why our government(s) functions the way it does.
