I don't think a lot of Americans appreciate how much Trump is just a pure negative for the rest of the world, and they aren't at all divided about it. We may wring our hands about it here in the States, but from an outside perspective, seeing Trump get whacked would bother them little more than seeing Saddam get hanged did.
Not supporting a candidate and not wanting the candidate assassinated are not mutually exclusive concepts. Grow up.

And millions of people here don't like him either, but the possible repercussions of this are terrifying by to consider. And supporting the attempted shooting of a political candidate hollows out the moral high ground the Democrats have about Jan. 6 being a threat to democracy. All they have to do is shut the fuck up and not make the guy a martyr.

he is an insurrectionist and a traitor to the country. The punishment for that is hanging, which unfortunately is never carried out. There are no "two sides" to the trump thing. Debating Biden back and forth is 100% fair and just. Debating the GOP and their policies and the future of the republican party is absolutely legitimate discussion. But there is no world in which trump is anything short of a domestic terrorist. Unfortunately the media still tries to "two sides" an issue which the facts and the moral tenants of democracy just don't support.
