I have no doubt that the messaging and postering will come out. There are already Congressmen that are saying Biden made this happen. But yeah, video of the snipers has been released. This was not planned. That's my $0.02.
Do you honestly think that they had a shooter that was talented enought to just wing his ear that then got killed just to "fake" this shooting? I don't buy it dude... not at all.
My conspiracy theory is that the Secret Service knows that Trump is a shit detail, and they avoid it, so it falls to the newbies and the fuckups.
NY Post is reporting that the shooter was a 20 year old resident of Bethel Park, PA. Voter registration for that name in that town has a man born in 2003... registered Republican.
I want off this ride man. I guess at least this isn't unprecedented in history so we aren't treading new ground. RFK, Huey Long (Long was aiming for candidacy) Wallace. We've been here before and survived. Also, my headline: "Man who has spent years advocating political violence surprised when political violence whizzes by his face"
The absolute clown show that was the SS immediate response, from securing their principal to extricating him to the limo, you'd think the entire thing was staged and they hired loyalist extras to wear a suit and sunglasses and look official. But there is in fact a dead shooter on the roof, and some blood in the grandstands from where an innocent was killed. You know what's harder than making a shot at distance? Intentionally missing your moving target by thousandths of an inch, just enough to graze his ear and hit nothing else. Anyway here's the "alleged" shooter's home. Registered R, but he's made small donations to D. Whatever that's worth.
I'm sure I don't have to explain how much I dislike Drumpf and anything in his detestable orbit, but: you're telling me the SS snipers had this guy in their sights, a shooter within range of their principal, and they just LET him get into position and waited for him to get the first shot?? https://www.reddit.com/r/interestingasfuck/s/y2emOrY4oP
To be fair, that’s any house in the borough if any small town in PA. As to the first point, yeah - I’m not saying things are staged, but watching the whole scene at the limo was like seeing dancers at the VMAs. It just seemed weird.
Photojournalist gets a picture of the bullet. https://x.com/Angry_Staffer/status/1812294410664587738 EDIT: commenters saying it might have been shrapnel and the round hit the teleprompter glass. I don’t know enough about bullet speeds to say eithe way, but I’d think shrapnel wouldn’t have as straight a path.
So now that we know the shooter is some far right neo nazi shithead, the narrative shift is that this is a DEI failure. That because his body guard was a woman(and therefore unqualified), the secret service must have hired her just for that. They must always blame something liberal for their own failures. Seriously though, how do they not secure a roof top a football field away from the candidate in an open field?
One, of course the filmer missed the money shot. Two, of course there is some shrieking woman ratcheting up the situation.
Where do we know he is a far right neo Nazi shit head? The simple voter registration or the guntuber shirt? One of the more disgusting things about our political discourse is the glee people have in pointing fingers at the opposing side when some nut shoots a public place.
Yeah I had to go look at CNN to see if that’d been determined yet. All I found is that he was a registered Republican, which doesn’t equate “far right neo Nazi.” I know a lot of people who are registered Republicans, and they’re really good people, far from what I’d consider neo-Nazi shitheads.
Is it weird that if I see like a 65 year old man who's a registered Republican, I'm like "well he could be a lot of things," but if it's a 20 year old white kid who looks like a reject from the House of Hapsburg, immediately my brain is like "oh I know what his internet history looks like."
He's registered as a Rep but donated to the Progressive Turnout Project when Biden was sworn into the Office
He donated $15 the day after Biden's inauguration in January 2021, and registered as a Republican immediately after turning 18 nine months later. He didn't change his registration after that point. Donating immediately after the inauguration is such weird timing, it almost feels like paying off a bet about who would become President. Or he could just have been mildly liberal at 17, but watched way too much youtube over the following year.
