Give me Kamala/kelly or Kamala/Manchin please My hot take is that someone like Christi could switch and attempt to really fuck with trump
I think Mark Kelly would be a good choice for veep. White guy, astronaut, and his wife survived an assasination attempt.
Any time Trump whines about how "they" tried to kill him, the camera just pans to Gabby Giffords watching from the front row, giving the "Jim from the Office" face.
I just hope whoever it is, the party can get it together to support them. I can’t take another “I don’t hate women, I just don’t like Hillary/Kamala” or “I would have voted if it was Bernie/Biden/Newsome”. I get it, we’re idealistic, but ffs you aren’t picking a life partner, you’re voting for someone who isn’t actively trying to undermine democracy.
Piss off single issue gun voters in swing states at your own peril. I can’t be the only one that thinks Harris could actually beat Trump pretty easily am I? As long as she tones down the cringe and amps up the prosecutor persona I think it could easily be a referendum on Trump chaos instead of the senile Joe situation they just dodged. She might actually be able to articulate how well the country is actually doing in ways Joe never could. I’m very interested to see how the polls change in the next two weeks now that it is official.
Nothing will be easy, but Trump is eminently beatable. We just haven't been feeling it because Biden has been unable to prosecute the case against him. We'll see how Harris does.
I just can't wait for the media to focus on the fact that the Republicans are trying to elect the oldest person to ever have been nominated for president...
Lot of talk on here about a Harris/whoever ticket. She's not the nominee. She's just been endorsed by Biden because who else is he going to endorse? Again, I'm saying it won't be her and they're just trying to figure out how to put someone in front of a female, POC, VP without pissing their base off. I also agree with the talking heads that say there shouldn't be a coronation, there should be a debate. At the DNC next month, have them do a debate on Mon, Tue and Wed night. Then they make their decision for nominee and that person gives their acceptance speech on Thur night
I am not trying to be sarcastic or derisive - I honestly don't know. But, I always thought the P/VP could not have the same state of residence? So, can't have a Harris/Newsom ticket?
