It's not even so much a swing toward Harris, as a swing toward "Oh right, I am reminded of how much I hate being aware that Trump exists" as soon as the focus came off Biden's age.
This is Trump’s third election cycle, and it’s apparent that he’s locked into his base. Even when he’s attempting to sit on the fence, the press now knows how to ask a question that makes a hardline answer that appeals to his base sound extremely wrong to everyone else - and also to make a respectable, thought out answer sound like the “slippery slope” that his base fears. Harris is going to have the full force of the media, Hollywood, young Americans, and the Swamp behind her. If she just focuses on policy and Trump being old and weird, and doesn’t give in to the temptation of acting like she deserves it because she’s black and a woman, she can win. Then she can celebrate the ceiling breaking, just to rub it in.
She better go put on a headlamp and start coughing to fit in with the coal miners, because if she doesn't win Pennsylvania she's gonna lose in the Electoral College.
I've never understood the obsession with coal miners. There's less than 45,000 coal mining jobs in the US. That's lower than the number of jobs at Arby's.

I have and I happen to like their turkey sandwich. But I’m not a coal miner, nor do I live in Pennsylvania. I’m just in a sad minority of Arby’s patrons who’s opinions, hopes and dreams will go unheeded.
