Grindr is probably more appropriate. Less fetish-restrictive.

The RNC already has a monopoly on Grindr.

I just wanna know who the fuck she’s picking, Jesus…

but a smart move. Trump is an afterthought in the news cycle and so he has to just be ultra super dickhead to try and push his name out there.

It's trending to be Walz, but who knows. I think Shapiro isn't a great pick as the voters in PA you are trying to win over are the more rural crowd and he's not super popular with them, where as Walz will get you the whole north block of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota for sure. If Shapiro can 10000% get you PA, then he's the best pick, but if he can't be the push to carry that state, it's a terrible pick.

Unfortunately, I don't think it'll much matter. If all of the other states shake out like they usually do, it'll be a 270 - 268 win for Trump. If Kamala can flip Carolina, Georgia, Pennsylvania, or Ohio, she's auto winner, but if not, because of the loss of some of the electoral college votes in slam dunk states, she's headed for the losers bracket.

The leading theory is that he has people on the inside to certify election results in his favor and toss those that aren't and set off some of the crazy armed people on his side to go crazy and try to swing another bigger J6, but actually planned put this time.

No way, that would never happen, no true patriot would go along with such a crazy scheme just to help their candidate win.

Of course the False Electors plot reveals how naive that sentiment is. These are cult members supporting their cult leader, nothing is below them.

    What lol?

That aside, proposition for everyone - how about we just forego our own civil war and we can just watch the UK have theirs?

He's the guy who signed it into law that every school child gets free lunch regardless of family income. Because in this country you have to make a law about that, it's not just a given.

As opposed to... what? Unless free school lunches is in the Constitution, why would it be a given?

Because there is little more abhorrent to me than the words "school lunch debt". And all the cutesy gofundmes and news stories about some noble child fundraising to pay off his classmates' debt do not erase the infuriating absurdity of this richest, most powerful country in all of human history utterly failing at the most basic fucking level of public welfare. CHILDREN GOING HUNGRY, and not even because they're homeless, scraping by on the streets but because the school they attend 5 days a week doesn't have the means to just GIVE them food to eat. What the fuck am I having to explain here?

Whatever the point you're trying to make is. They definitely have to pass a law for something.

I mean, there isn't a law for every line item in the budget of the school systems. It wouldn't be totally unreasonable to just assume that providing food for children is part and parcel with sending them to school.

I'm not saying they can't/shouldn't pass a law to codify it, but also it seems completely ridiculous that, even absent a law, we are having poor children going into debt over school lunch.

And where do you think budgets come from?
