What. The fuck. We need to pass legislation against Bad Things. At least Newt promised them a moon base by 2020.
https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/833435244451753984 So even though he can snap his fingers and have a greased-up pool boy summarize intelligence reports to him at any hour, day or night, on a moment's notice, he instead chooses to just shoot from the hip on totally unverified shit he saw on Fox the night before, and to make matters worse, not even understand what the Fox piece was about to begin with. It's also interesting to note that appears only to care about these "attacks" to the degree they can help his rhetoric. After seeing and misunderstanding this Fox report, he didn't immediately ask for more information from his staff, or ask what the US is doing in response to this Bøwlïng Grånne Massacre, he simply tucked it away so he could rile up a bunch of Florida rednecks with it later.
Sweden has asked the US State Department to explain Trump's claims of the bad things happening in Sweden, because they know of no such things happening. http://www.reuters.com/article/us-u...=Feed:+Reuters/worldNews+(Reuters+World+News)
https://twitter.com/hashtag/LastNightInSweden?src=hash That's pretty funny... even the Swedish newspapers are making fun of his statements.
He's been in office a month and he and his team have already made up three completely fictional terrorist attacks. It's like we elected Tom Clancy.
Your President reminds me of the kid in middle school who had to do a book report on a book he never read... he just stands there making shit up.
If you want another view, some of the regular* people who live in Sweden do know of such things and will document them in long video blogs. This is from a Bosnian immigrant who lives in Sweden. *Arg Blatte is not all that "regular," but as far as devil worshipping dudes go, he's relatively coherent in his arguments.
Fake terrorist attacks aside, Sweden does have serious issues with refugee crime in places like Malmo. And not necessarily on native Swedes, but each other. There are numerous sections where the refugees have overpowered and forced out the police.
I find it very interesting to see how this has been spun... it started off with "the terrorist activity that happened last night in Sweden", to being called out on it by Sweden and their government, which Trump later admitted was based on an unsubstantiated news report from Fox, to back-peddling to the "they have problems with immigration" stance. While they very well may have immigration issues, it is not at all the context within which Trump's initial statement was made.
"Treasure Island is the best book ever written about this wonderful tourist destination." Since virtually everything that he says and thinks is stupid, why did so many think The Wall, possibly his dumbest idea of all, was so brilliant?
I'm not saying this didn't happen, but on the other hand, remember that whole incident in Frankfurt about refugees sexually assaulting people? Turns out that was entirely made up: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/w...ny-cologne-new-year-allegations-a7581291.html So color me skeptical about some of the more sensationalist stories about refugee violence.
So in a debate in the UK Parliament this morning, Donald Trump was referred to as a man with "grotesque characteristics and behavior" ...by the side defending him.
