I mean correct. On Milo, I haven't consumed everything he has done, but I haven't heard him say anything actually racist or bigoted, but do those terms mean anything anymore? The timing of this is interesting, and there was a leak on Reddit that shows that the release of this was specifically planned to derail him. But I wasn't going to give Lena Dunham the benefit of the doubt when she admitted to molesting her sister, so I won't give it to Milo. Interesting that she got to keep her book deal and TV show though. But he had to see this kind of character assassination coming, right? He provokes it over and over and over. He was annoying and I doubt he's going away.
http://www.politico.com/story/2017/02/trump-twitter-staffer-235263 God I hope we all live to look back on this and find it funny.
I'm quite happy with how he's doing, actually. Soooo much better than the alternatives. And he's not Trump.
Can someone dumb down for me the hype around the transgender bathroom thing? My understanding is that the Trump administration repealed the federal protections and is giving the power back to the states. And everyone on my facebook feed is up in arms about how our children are no longer protected. I'd like a clear understanding as to how they are not protected anymore and what the implications could be going forward. Now, I'll admit I haven't done any hardcore research on the topic, but from what I have read, it just seems contradictory. I figured you guys could shed some clear light on this for me.
Obama mandated that schools must allow students use bathrooms based on their gender identity or they lose funding. Trump took away the part where they lose the funding and told states to make their own rules about it. Thats it. The outrage is just the identity politics and moral relativism you'd expect from the left.
Silver Fox has a pretty good summary in a recent segment: http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/22/polit...tections-on-transgender-bathrooms-in-schools/ It would be less of an issue if there weren't a number of states chomping at the bit to discriminate against transgender folk.
Bannon didn't buy his seat, he broke into Trump's brain as part of a highly trained crew that included Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy.
Maybe they weren't chomping at the bit at all, say like groups looking for a fight, but rather just wanted to be left alone.
