Yes, I’m all for there being strict laws and precedent set. This kid’s (and other kids) parents should be detained at the least, and arrested if it’s obvious they didn’t follow proper safety, storage, etc.
What I don't understand is why every time gun control comes up, people argue against it by saying "the second amendment is necessary to prevent a tyrant," "we need guns to fight tyranny," "your gun rights protect all your other rights," but then the second a kid actually takes a shot at Trump, those same people get more mad at him than they ever have at anyone who has shot up a school. Are the guns for shooting tyrants or not? Let's make up our minds here.
One man's tyrant is another man's president and savior of democracy. And that sums up why we're all so fucked right now.
I'm gonna fuck up and vote for Ralph Nader. We grew up in the same town. Gotta keep it real with the homies.
https://x.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1832589096029450360 We're all aware that he has no intention of respecting the outcome of the election if he loses right? And that threats like these are intended to prevent the legal and orderly process of voting in the first place?
Yeah, but you have to admit yoir first reaction was “no way this fucker actually thought of using ‘skullduggery’ by himself”
Debate Drinking Game. Drink every time: Trump blames something unrelated to immigration on illegals Trump mentions 2020 election results Trump says "Sleepy Joe" or "Comrad Kamala" Trump mentions Hillary Clinton Harris cackles awkwardly Harris says "Bidenomics" Harris slips into another accent
I think Harris baited Trump into publicly insisting there be no height aids. He thought he was preventing her from standing on a box and looking tall, but really she's going to demand his shoes be inspected on camera at the beginning of the debate. 4D Chutes and Ladders play.
Two things: 1) If you do that, you will die of alcohol poisoning. 2) About Kamala's accent changes: critics are saying that she was using a Southern accent, but couldn't an argument be made that she was using an AAVE accent? It's not like that's her regular speaking voice anyway, but I got the impression that critics actually wanted to call her out for "talking black," but they couldn't after Trump's whole "is she really black?" speech.
Fucking racist, she has a stutter! I just can’t see this going well for Trump. I have to assume half her game plan is to continually point out his meandering babbling. I’ve noticed the press has been pressing this the past few weeks so I think the talking points are in.
Who knows. It's most likely to be a disaster for both of them. But, I think Trump could care less what she points out. He's been President, he's been shot, and he already had one debate with the other presidential candidate the Democrats were running a few weeks ago. He thinks he's got this no problem.
I genuinely think we don't know what a California accent is if it doesn't sound like valley girl. Who in God's name is having their mind changed by this debate? I am truly surprised it may still happen. I'd expect Trump to drop out, but apparently this shit is still on.
What he thinks and what reality is has never crossed in a Venn diagram. She would have to flub pretty fucking bad to not come off as normal, the bare minimum needed to “win,” in this situation. While Trump can think on his feet in debates he’s not going to be able to pull a Tulsi Gabbard with his pathological puffery talking style. All she has to worry about is looking normal. If they haven’t coached that into her for a 90 minute debate I just don’t know what to say.
It never should've happened. Trump is a joke candidate with criminal convictions and more on the way, he doesn't deserve to be "debated". And everyone knows he'll just get up there and lie faster than anyone can fact check him in a live broadcast. Kamala would need a binder like Kaighley McEnany for rapid reference.
my wife hasn't really listened to Kamala speak. She's curious about the debate and said she might vote for Kamala (vs not voting at all) if she does well
