I'd love to see the internal polling that leads him to these freak outs. I'm right there with you in hating him, and I was thinking about it today that as much as I hate him and what he has done to people -- I've been an outcast with my inlaws for the last decade because they're all MAGAtrash and therefore think everyone outside of that cult is a moron -- I also hate that we will never get our celebratory "okay bad guy gone" moment. Like the single best outcome of Kamala winning would be for trump to go away and resume boring politics. But that wouldn't feel good you know? I know intellectually that we can't act crazy and celebrate and rub it in people's faces, but I would be lying to say I didn't want a bit of revenge for the shit they did to us all that time. I can only imagine how women and minorities and those more directly impacted feel. Maybe my outlet, assuming she wins, will be to celebrate by wearing my "I voted" sticker during my next marathon. Maybe I'll go drive one of the main streets with the rest of the city honking the car horn per our usual impromptu celebration protocol. I'm in a weekly group for addicts. The psychiatrist, an Indian immigrant, brought up the election and started asking who people were going to vote for. He is a Trump supporter. It was so uncomfortable for myself and one other guy, from what I could judge from reactions. Everyone else jumped at the chance to let people know who they planned to vote for. It was about 50/50, between the two candidates, in case you want to know what addicts favor politically. I'm sick of politics being brought up in places it shouldn't.
