    Back when that happened, I remember saying that I'm glad he missed because it could drive America into a civil war but I guess that'd be better than a war with Canada, possibly Mexico, China and a civil war.

    Nominees pretty much never fail at the vote. If they don't have the votes, they drop out beforehand. Only one so far on that list is Gaetz I think.
