I'm operating under that assumption. Who else would leak part of one year that implicates him in nothing?
It's also safe to bet that Maddow started crowing about having those tax returns before she saw them then it was too late and she had to go to press with what she had because otherwise, the implication is that she is brain dead and doesn't understand how taxes work. In either case, it shows ZERO journalistic integrity. As a matter of fact, calling her a journalist isn't fair to the few remaining actual journalists out there.
I think she just got wonk-itis. She got so excited that the return showed that Trump was advocating for a tax cut that would lower his liability from 24% to 5% that she went and forgot that 99.9% of the country doesn't give a fuck about the Alternative Minimum Tax.
Wow. It's easy to look at numbers at the top like this, but it's going to be pretty interesting to see just how the cuts actually occur. That being said, I think an increase like that to defence while killing the EPA and NASA is just fucking retarded.
NASA actually comes through ok (1% reduction). The cuts we're most going to regret are EPA and State in my opinion. Several prominent Republicans have already come out and said this budget is dead on arrival though, so we'll see how things shake out.
Isn't that pretty typical for the way Trump operates, though? Start with a deal that nobody would ever agree to, then back down to a compromise deal . . . and that deal is close to what he really was hoping for all along?
It's going to get very interesting, or entertaining, to watch him deal with life long politicians when the rubber meets the road. A realitively small number of Senators from the right could block everything if it isn't fiscally conservative enough for them.
In my opinion his insane policies are what he wants, and he is constantly throwing his racket into the net because he's too insane even for his own party. The fact he is bitter about everything --EVERYTHING- shows he isn't getting what he wants, and reacting the way a spoiled rich boy would. I don't think there's any hidden failsafe/compromise with his policies. I think he's purebred stupid.
Thats the strategy that he does everything by. Thats what The Art of the Deal was about. Its not unique to him, its a fairly common business strategy. He just lives by it as gospel.
I didn't mean to imply it was unique to him. I find it odd that you know it, it's in his book, fairly common in business, but the media coverage of his outlandish strategies don't ever seem to mention it. Do they have levels of skilz discussed at the Hacker convention? Hey, I hacked Emma Watson's iPhone and I'm dumping to the Fappening 2. [high fives all around] Hey, I hacked McDonald's Twitter and insulted Donald Trump. [crickets chirping]

I just found this hilarious. At the urging of Martin Sheen, another California city has declared itself a sanctuary city. What city is that? Malibu. The humble, 90% white, $138K median household income, $5K a month for a 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment is welcoming illegal immigrants with open arms.
I cannot for the life of me understand the argument for sanctuary cities. Regardless of a person's stance on immigration it makes no sense for a country to have random cities setting their own policy. I'm also at a loss as to what kind of policy liberals even envision with regards to immigration at this point.
The city council of MY city just voted 12-0 to make London a sanctuary city. Since we already HAVE people in crisis here like oh say the homeless, do we shove these needy people aside simply in the name of virtue signalling? I hope these city councillors have a LOT of spare bedrooms in their homes. Sweden has sactuary cities. That totally worked out.
Good. That's one creative way to fight gentrification. There is no argument for mass immigration other than "oh the feelies." On just about every other issue, I am liberal as fuck, but transplanting people across the world and expecting them to thrive isn't realistic, especially not when the safety net in the US is laughably paltry. We have domestic citizens we don't take care of, somehow a bunch of immigrants are able to get the recipe? Please.
TL;DR, the "white genocide" is self-inflicted. Y'all didn't have enough babies, so when you retire there won't be enough people to replace you and buy what you leave behind. Unless we import them.
