Won't happen. The verbiage they're pushing is that if you already did 8 years, you can't had 4 more. But if you only did 4 years, then adding 8 more is A-ok.
Yeah, if anything is seriously offered, it will be specific to only Trump. Could’ve been Carter, if he hadn’t have been a quitter.
REPORTER TAPPER: "You're imposing a 10% on the Heard and MccDonald islands. They have zero human inhabitants. Why are you putting tariffs on islands entirely populated by penguins?" AGRICULTURE SECRETARY ROLLINS: "Whatever. Listen, the people leading this are serious, intentional, patriotic, the smartest I've ever worked with." Our current "leadership" ladies and gentlemen.

Okay, can somebody please tell me what the actual tariff schedule is? He announced all this shit last Wednesday. I read an article last Thursday that the tariffs would go into effect on this past Saturday. Now I’m reading another article that says they go into effect this coming Wednesday. When in the actual fuck is Real Tariff Day?
Trump threatening an additional 50% tariff on China because of their retaliatory tariffs. Walmart: "STAAAAHHHHHPPPPP!!!!!!!!"
I'm glad my crystal ball gazing was correct. All the purchases we would normally space out or buy when needed got sped up. We have purchased a new HVAC, new/used car, pond filtration supplies, a full new essentials wardrobe for my husband including 5x pants, 20x underwear and work boots, new workhorse laptop, random missing computer parts to build my kid's computer, some patio items, and some lawn tools like a good ryobi blower and a mulcher/shredder. I am also to the fuckin' gills on dried beans and rice, toilet paper, basic medicines & first aid, and washing chemicals such as detergents. Garden's a go as usual, ducks are healthy, soap biz ingredients and packaging is set for at least a year. Good luck to you all.
Four of the top ten richest people in America are Sam Walton’s children. It’s not like they don’t have any stroke down there— they absorbed the economy of every small city on this entire continent over the past thirty years.
We're 90% done on the renovation for the bedrooms and bathrooms (pics coming soon) but will be starting the expensive reno (kitchen, living room, dining room etc) in a few months. So yeah, gonna get buttfucked by this BS
It's a bit weird. The 25% on all cars and car parts went into effect the day after he announced the list of new tariffs on everyone. Those don't go into effect until the 9th unless "negotiated" to be delayed on a country by country basis. There's also a flat 10% on all metal imports, I think??? not included in this that had been placed about 3 weeks ago. There's also the original 25% on China which happened a few weeks ago as well and the ones on Canada and Mexico which are still in effect. It is a complete shit show.
We just got the set of "offers" for buyouts, voluntary early retirement and deferred resignation, with one week to apply. What a lovely offer, it'd be nice if someone didn't crash the fucking economy beforehand. Sigh. Contact your reps and let them know how the Trump economy is fucking you, and that you will hold THEM accountable for it at the next primary, election, or town hall.
Ours, Nick Langworthy, is an absolute cunt whose lips are firmly attached to Trump’s ass. His “town halls” are phone in events where, if I understand correctly, callers are pre-screened. He doesn’t give a fuck what you think unless you’re in agreement with him and his party. We live in the Bible Belt of the Northeast, surrounded by people who think Trump is the greatest president to have ever lived. So that’s the kind of “representation” we get.
Understood and mine are no better. However, still reach out. One issue is they rely on heavily curated polls and research, and much of that is skewed by social media. If they hear from a real live person, even if it's one voice out of thousands, it's better than nothing. It leaps to the top of the pile. One reason it's still worth doing is actually pork projects. A rep can facilitate an exemption or waiver to some of this bullshit and save some jobs, if the ask is specific enough. Another is the reps communications are typically factored into research, and your message can indicate they can be primaries, with a bonus of indicating which positions they are weak on. Some of those coms are even part of public record. Bottom line: do something. It may not have an immediate impact, but the analingus is a front: they know where they are vulnerable, and they like hiding it. The front they put on isn't armor, it's a veil, and the more they realize folks see through it, the quicker they drop it.
Back when Ohio last re-drew their maps, I was gerrymandered into district now being represented by one Gymothy Jordan. So, I now weekly email his office asking if he has yet raised enough money to afford an actual suit-coat. I no longer receive responses from his office.
Some new AI videos are making the rounds, showing America's "re-industrialization". They're pretty funny. https://www.reddit.com/r/ChatGPT/comments/1jub3oq/chinese_made_ai_videos_about_american/
You know what makes me a little sad about this? One of the biggest insults in that video is that those fatasses and depressed dudes are moving fucking SLOW. And most Americans wouldn’t even get that joke.
Can he afford it? How much DOES a pimp make when your only john was your fellow gay pedophile wrestling coach?
