Oh fuck off with that. Trump sucks, but if the democrats put up a huge piece of shit don't cry to us and demand an apology. I don't really want to bring up Hillary and beat that dead horse, but I don't know what else to tell you...

Pence would win the Gilead presidency with 110% of the vote. He is Trump's impeachment insurance.

Not really, he will be a straight down the line conservative. Much more right wing that what I would prefer, but at least you know what you'll be getting for the most part. And if Trump does have to resign, Pence will be perma-cucked until 2020 anyway.

Right, let's add "Hillary would've been just as bad!" to the list. IMG_20170430_084457.jpg IMG_20170430_084457.jpg

After a year and a half of the weekly unnamed source being given credence in an article then the media and everyone else screaming "Trumps done!" I think I'll just take a wait and see approach to this one. It's like living in Ground Hog's Day.

We have no facts. Just a story in the liberal NYT from a reporter saying someone told him something with no proof and no context.

Yea I'm with you. Pence is a predictable conservative. Much easier to manage and to know what to expect from him. He's a career politician, not some nut job who ended up in the White House.

You seriously quoted some idiot who went on an "if this was a minority blah blah blah" post and I'm supposed to take that seriously? And of course, he's Russian traitor, which has obviously been proven. Mmmmk.

So you're saying you deliberately choose to ignore all of it.

    Got it.

Because somehow you thought he'd take off his failed businessman hat and put on a politician's mask and suddenly be a solid decision maker who weighs the gravity of his actions and decisions before he takes them.
Despite nothing in his character indicating that was even a possibility.

Somehow y'all thought he'd be a different man than the known swindler, liar, failure, and hack he's been for decades.

See, I don't believe that's all you got from it. I think you know exactly what that post is getting at, but will not acknowledge it and instead will deflect. That's fine, we're all passengers on this ship. We will all go down together.

And here we go....this morning Rep Al Green called for Trump's impeachment on the house floor for obstruction of justice. No proof of these charges other than the say so of a NYT reporter. That's putting a lot of faith in not only the reporter but also the unnamed source who probably aren't biased at all.

More than anything the call is to (a) decide what charges are to be brought, if any, and then, I think, (b) get everyone to officially commit to their "yes/no" vote on impeachment. Or to get Ryan to officially go on record as denying the vote at all.

Right now a ton of Republicans are skating around making an official statement and making generic statements, and the Dems want them to officially go on the record one way or the other so they can go back and say, "see?"

I think this is a case of forcing people to shit or get off the pot.

I imagine they'll ask everyone in attendance to remove their shoes and submit to the most invasive searches allowable.

I also imagine the Saudi's will do their best to quiet all the groups in the area. Watch out Iranian militia in Yemen, the Saudis will be kicking down their doors

Failed businessman? I may not understand your metrics of success in business but I would happily take Trump's business track record as my own. I think if you were to liquidate Trump today, you would find he is a very rich man just in real estate holdings. Not every business venture, product or service launched by a company is successful, you have to look at the bigger picture, not individual wins and losses to tell the true story. Nobody is right 100% of the time, I would say he is far more successful that you or I; therefore, I wouldn't call him a failure.

Beyond that, either I wasn't clear or you didn't read the 'why' in what I wrote but I'm looking for a shake-up, not the status quo.
