Good point. Take my twin for example, he can't be denied insurance now right? However he's still put in the high end pool which is effectively the same thing that would happen without the ACA. He's still going to get crushed by insurance premiums, so yea, in terms of the chronically ill, high risk group, insurance will still be difficult and expensive. Its not like everyone is paying the same premiums.

And you are right about the marketplaces crashing. Insteading of more companies entering, more are leaving and people have fewer and fewer choices in that marketplace because giants like United have done the math and decided its not in their best interest to be in that game.

I mean he is right. Biden would have beaten Trump; his negatives are not nearly as high as Clinton's. The country really got fucked by the untimely death of Beau Biden.

What do people think of these constant leaks coming out of the IC? If there's something that really implicates Trump colluding with the Russians, or anything like that by all means leak the fuck out of it, but 95% of it has just been random shit where people were clearly sifting through conversations to find a sound byte or a quote to drum up another news cycle. It's not their fucking job to be partisans playing sides and trying to make this guy or that guy look bad. I don't know, I just think it's really fucking sad that we've gotten to the point where these people are so immature and unprofessional they're more concerned about supporting a political party than doing their job.

It's going to be hard for the president and other top officials to speak frankly with visiting heads of state and ambassadors with these people constantly leaking to the press.

That said, you have to give it to Trump for being so thick headed that this has happened 50 times and he's still dumb enough to blurt out the stuff making headlines.

This latest leak is interesting because it implicates Flynn more than it does Trump. What I've been thinking about more lately is how there's this disparity between people who think Trump is a fucking buffoon who is throwing rakes on the ground and then purposely stepping on them and the other side who thinks he's some mastermind capable of a grand coverup.

I'm starting to think he's just a drooling fucking retard. But that also doesn't mean he didn't break any laws. It just means he probably didn't know which laws he was breaking. I think the people in his administration are far more savvy with political manipulation than he is and he's too stupid to control himself.

    I think this is key.

He very well may be a smart guy, but he does his own thing his own way, and I think he's doing what he's used to doing, but doesn't realize that he's not the CEO of a company and is subject to so many more laws and and insane amount of public scrutiny.

He's just too stupid to know he's stupid (about that pesky Constitution and legal things and such).

    Sounds like the dunning-Kruger effect.
His abilities are so low that he actually thinks he's really smart. And now he's in way way over his head with some really smart people.

And this is why he got elected, the idea that a business guy could get the government into tip top shape, not appreciating it's much more complicated than that. This is why Ryan, Paul, and Trump dote on Ayn Rand. And why an open minded 15 year old can see it's much more complicated. You can't bully and number one yourself into "winning" the world.

For previous Presidents, It's almost as if having top-notch law degrees somehow came in handy during the job.

Y'all now I'm putting money on the line. It's a simple over/under bet, on the date trump get's impeached. I'm betting with an in-law who is due right after my wife, so the money from the loser goes to the winner's nursery shit.

Jackals, I need a date. Like should we do when impeachment hearings begin? A side bet on when he resigns instead of getting impeached? A throw away bet on when pence resigns?

I need suggestions, and also, dates.

Obama was our least experienced president in recent memory, "merely" having been a Senator and Constitutional Law Professor.

Bush 43 was Governor of Texas
Clinton was Governor of Arkansas, AG of Arkansas
Bush 41 was VP, CIA Director, Ambassador to China, RNC Chair, Ambassador to the UN, US Rep from TX07
    Reagan was Governor of California
Carter was Governor of Georgia, Georgia State Senator

and on and on it goes.

Trump hasn't even led a company that has to answer to a Board of Directors or shareholders. Amazing how people thought the hardest job on the planet was something you can just pick up on the job with zero preparation.

This is complicated because the stakes change with almost every news story. I think he will resign before he gets impeached but I also think Orrin Hatch is the next in line with clean hands. The pace keeps picking up each day. 3 major news bombs just this afternoon.

I'm gonna get crazy and say Trump resigns within 1-2 months. I'm not ballsy enough to give a date.

Remind me where John F Kennedy and Ronald Reagan got their law degree.

Trump is a terrible example to hold up for reasons for any presidential qualifications.

If he doesn't get impeached, then neither of you win? Because he won't be impeached.

I'm picking my 10 year surgery anniversary, which I've also picked as my wife's due date, just so I can double extra celebrate. I also say that Trump resigns, on August 9th (unless you assholes convince me otherwise, in which case I might bet that way).

I also say that pence resigns in an attempt to wash his hands.

I will bet a large sum of money that trump resigns before he is impeached, if it comes to that. His ego couldn't handle "losing."

I don't know all the legalities of if, but I do hope that Paul Ryan comes out of the muck and gets the approval to fill in for the next three years.

    You're basing this prediction on....what?

Numerous stories naming "People close to the investigation" and "We heard"?

What exactly are the charges they're going to bring against him as reason for impeachment?

I only base my opinions on reputable sources who have been with the WH for multiple years both sides.

As far as the charges, well, you don't really need charges. Though it helps. Interfering with a federal investigation. Espionage. A virtual banquette of tax fraud. I mean pick your poison. The President can pardon himself, to an extent. At a certain point, "being the scum of the earth" catches up to you.

Y'all forget, we'd be mocking this dude's insane antics, if only he wasn't our fucking president.

Uh ok. I'm convinced. "Reputable sources" That certainly sounds legit.

These reputable sources don't have names? How are you so sure they're reputable if you don't even know who they are?

I'm not biased. I just want America (including Canada and Mexico) to be ok in the end.

And I am gut instinct terrified that it wont be.

    I do too.

And my gut instinct tells me Trump is a fucking idiot. But has he been colluding with the Russians? I doubt it. Have members of his inner circle? Once again I doubt it.

Sit and think about it for a moment....Every. Fucking.Day. there's a new "Bombshell"....look what we found out! And after a year it's added up to absolutely nothing that anyone can pin point with any proof.

It's stonewalling, nothing more , nothing less.

I think he'll resign due to medical issues before he's impeached or just plain quits.

I think it'll all be too much for him and will wear him out.
