And certain no-name liberal outlets are signal boosting their own "omg it's a call to violence" hysterics. FFS
Next he'll hop onto XBox Live and tell me he fucked my mom. He's acting like an anti-social 14 year old.
The media gets a lot of shit, cable news in particular, but Maddow's team did some really first rate journalism in sniffing out a well done fake sent to them: http://thehill.com/homenews/media/340978-maddow-warns-other-media-of-fake-nsa-documents Someone clearly tried very hard to buttress the "fake news" narrative, and Maddow's team did their due diligence and didn't take the bait.
I know this is a bit off your point but does it not seem odd that that article ends with a pretty weak attempt to implicate Trump in leaking his own 2005 tax returns? What purpose does that serve to strengthen the article's, or Maddow's, story of fake NSA documents other than just another attempt to shit on the president they don't like? I think it's this tacit bias that most on the right, and people in general, have gotten tired of.
Do you think any "New Media" outlet would have had the scruples and the skill to catch that before going to print?
Trump wants to start a cyber security unit. With Russia. The same country that our entire intelligence community has high confidence that it meddled in our elections. Is Trump going to partner with NAMBLA to investigate sexual abuse in the Catholic Church next? Fucking dipshit.
I always thought those tax returns were planted. "Leaked" by an insider as a means to get the media sharks to smell blood and charge the decoy. Maddow sure took a bite, and the intrepid reporter who produced the returns was so painfully obvious about his personal agenda (using the same turns of phrase in other interviews, basically following his own script), Trump Inc. couldn't have found a better representative of the hostile media.
Well, we know the Dems meddled in our elections, so fuck, everyone is doing it. Maybe they can all work it out together.
And I thought Sean Hannity was a lock for the Dumbest Hot Take award for the month of July. What are you even talking about?
I believe he's speaking of the verifiable collusion between the supposed to be impartial DNC to help protect their winning horse Hillary over outsider Bernie. Lay off the snark, it isn't helpng.
There is a significant difference between a political party preferring the candidate they feel is the best representative of their party in the general election and a hostile foreign government seeking to do harm to the United States.
Except the DNC's actions in the grand scheme of what's wrong with our system is way more important for us to face than the boogeyman unacceptable actions of Russia.
And? We can't be concerned about a foreign state's cyber attacks and also how entrenched power structures in our own country have severely limited individual choice at the ballot box?
Well they spent so much time pumping a meaningless Trump/Russia narrative they really havent had the room to consider the implications of their own scandal.
You don't seem too concerned when you refer to said cyber attacks as "boogeyman actions." Do you think they released this information altruistically? Just to help the good ol' U.S. of A? Somehow I think not. So why did they do it? Think about how it is hurting us. Do you really think the RNC is that much better in regard to impartiality? I highly doubt it. I think their laundry would look just as dirty if aired in public. Also remember, the DNC isn't able to just pick the horse they want to win no matter what. If that was the case, she would have been the nominee in '08. Elucidate us, oh wise one.
Listen Ive said it before about the RNC, they have the same issues the DNC does and have changed rules and tactics to limit outsiders, they specifically did this after Ron Paul's campaigns. Trump was really just an outlier wrecking ball force that in the end sided with the RNCs power structure much to the chagrin of more traditional conservatives. Niether party so far has really looked inward and the conversation has moved on back to typical partisan fighting. I say boogey man in the sense Juice is talking about. Maybe not the best time for me to have used that phrase, but again the Democrats seem to just be using it as lip service so they can bog down Trump's agenda with endless accusations of collusions with no real proof anyone in the adminstration was working with the Russians to release the info during the campaign at all. Trump and the Republican's also haven't done anything substantive on the issue either. It's a shit show.
