That skit was followed by probably the best comedy skit off all time, and a good representation of America at this point:
I’m sorry, but did Trump just blame his son-in-law for Mueller’s investigation? This is so marvellous. He’s so stupid and full of himself he’ll attack his own family to save face. I used to have a close friend like this who I don’t speak to anymore: No matter how much something is their fault, no matter how much of a hand they in something, they will pass the buck. They will blame shift, lie, deny, do whatever it takes to look the constant hero. People like that are utterly dead inside.
Honestly I think she's working the redemption angle. She paints herself as a true blue Berner who just had to go along with HRC "for party and country". Lotta good that did, might as well have gone with Grandpa Socialist vs Uncle Conman, a true national referendum.
And I don't appreciate Politico treating this like some grand scoop when they themselves covered the fucking thing as it happened. https://www.politico.com/story/2015...ary-clinton-fundraising-agreement-2016-121813
Or him preemptively blaming his Treasury Secretary if a law written by the Congress and signed by himself fails.
Well, that's one way to quit a job: https://www.theverge.com/2017/11/2/16600732/donald-trump-twitter-account-gone-realdonaldtrump
Doesn’t this sort of hacking of President Fuckwad’s account indicate that some burnt-out employee of Twitter could declare war on another country if they so much as felt like it? Let’s not forget how many people out there credit twitter as a “reliable source”.
Yeah Twitter its so stupid. I barely pay attention. It would be nice if he handed over the keys to a staffer like Obama or just not tweet at all like Bush.
It's funny how the ones that complained the loudest when he came back were the first ones to notice he was gone in the first place.
So now the military is disgracing the military? I just can’t imagine being so proud of the lack of ability to use critical thinking and discuss topics with any nuance. There are valid arguments on both sides of this topic and because in the aftermath of his desertion others were killed it obviously turns into an emotional discussion. But instead of pointing that out, as with most other topics, we are left with 140 characters of hot takes.
The weird part of it to me is how long he latches onto these non-issues. Like how he will never, ever shut the fuck up about the coal miners of West Virginia. Maybe Bergdahl is a good soldier, maybe not. Does anyone actually care? He's been harping about this since the first month of his campaign.
Something I have been doing the last few weeks which helps me to contextualize Trump’s severe retardation is instead of wondering what his thought process is behind what he says, I think about who he is trying to appeal to. Who would be the most angry about Berghdahl getting a slap on the wrist for desertion? Who still loves hearing about “crooked h” or “Pocahontas”? His base. Everything he does is about fighting the culture war and getting on the same page emotionally as people. The truth is irrelevant.
Speaking of H, has anyone been paying attention the release of Donna Brazile’s book? She claims that the Clintons kept the DNC financially afloat and in turn were handed control of the party and the nomination. Jesus.
Donna Brazile is a sellout. This entire thing was about her selling books. You see she's already walking it back, denying she ever saw any rigging. Inb4 "hurr, she just doesn't want to be the next Seth Rich". If Republicans weren't worried about getting swept in 2018, they are now. All kinds of people taking seats they'd thought safe. And of course our boy in the White House with his usual reaction.
I haven't read too deep into yesterday's wins. Couple of things the MSM and the left will spin anything desperately to give an impression of a blue wave on anything they can. I take the headlines with a grain of salt. That being said Trump and the right have zero direction and are creating zero energy for the mid terms. I think they could blow it on their apathy alone.
Yeah, they won governor's seats in states they were likely going to win no matter what, the fact that the GOP candidates were as close as they were is the interesting part. None of these are shocking. CNN would have you believe that Trump just ripped off a Mission Impossible-style mask to reveal that Hillary has been President all along or something. Look at their front page right now: Spoiler
