The perpetual virginity is a Catholic doctrine, I'm not sure how far it extends to other denominations. James, Jude, and Simon are explained as being cousins/half-brothers/etc
Ah, I didn't know Catholics believe that. I would think that Matthew 1:25, "But he didn’t have sexual relations with her until she gave birth to a son" implies, "but then after that, they got it on like rabbits." Although, the fact that Mary wouldn't put out may explain why Joseph isn't heard from later in Jesus' life.
Oh my God. You have no idea how much I want to see Trump start a slap-fight with Scientology. MAD is a little too much to ask for, but watching tweedledee and tweedledumb going at it would be entertaining as hell. Trump Thinks Scientology Should Have Tax Exemption Revoked, Longtime Aide Says
Ah, let’s tax that religion. Only that religion, JUST that religion and not the other con-driven rape cults who get a perpetual free lunch to sell their invisible product. Tax them all, and you’ll make it rain. Or you’ll destroy a few, either way win-win.
Many people, many people, are saying that Trump has eclipsed Jane Fonda for "most anti-American thing said by an American in Hanoi" http://www.cnn.com/2017/11/11/politics/trump-hanoi-gaggle/index.html
Reading transcripts of Trumps remarks is always painful, but those in the above article are right up there with worst I’ve read so far.
It definitely adds to him looking guilty, trying to deny things that haven't been in dispute for so long. ABC did an interesting piece recently, where they interviewed some of the 'trolls' - or whatever you want to call them. They were being paid $700 a month and posing with fake accounts on facebook and various comment sections. One day they'd pretend to be a black guy from Mississippi, a white woman from North Dakota the next. The trolls also had to watch various tv shows and follow other pop culture going ons as part of the program. Can't find the video with the interviews at the moment, but at the rates they were paying the low level employees you can imagine the number of trolls attempting to influence the campaign was quite extensive.
https://www.theatlantic.com/amp/article/545738/ "Stupid Watergate" rolls on. Remember the good old days when shady business was conducted with face to face meetings and untraceable communication drops, and not just responding to a foreign intelligence service sliding into your DMs like a rapper trying to fuck a high school senior?
I don't know what Wikileaks' game was, but the communications are legit: https://twitter.com/DonaldJTrumpJr/status/930228239494209536
How is what Wikileaks and Trump Jr. (according to that article) done considered to be a criminal conspiracy? The only time the conspiracy would come into play, it seems to me (who's definitely not educated on such things), would be if Wikileaks were doing it at the behest of the Russians. Now, there's a ton of speculation that Assange has been turned by the Russians and is an active 2-way pipeline of info to the Kremlin, but nothing around that has been proven.
Wikileaks is a foreign actor, described by Trump's own CIA chief as a "non-state hostile foreign intelligence service." They also admitted in their opening email to have illegally infiltrated the computer system of an American PAC (admittedly through a nearly unlocked door). All of that before you get to the point of "they're also a Russian intelligence asset."
Fuck what our intelligence services have to say. They are actively lying to us on a regular basis and spying on us. Again, as discussed before, what part of the information provided was false?
If the left hasn't totally turned on wikileaks this should put the nail in the coffin. Expect new rape charges in 3,2,.....
I found a great graphic explainer of the Uranium One Scandal that puts it into perspective. Spoiler: Size
I thought it was going to be this one, which Rep Gohmert actually brought to the floor of the House: Spoiler: Size
