I’m sure a doughy New York City silver spooner would have no trouble beating up the ex-star athlete. Tell me more stories of the countless bar brawls and parking lot rumbles Trump got his hands bloody in.

More dick measuring, awesome. Whatever distracts from the rest of him.

I mean Bill lied under oath to the independent counsel investigating him while in office, people like to gloss over that and write it off because it was over just a BJ. It’s probably why any lawyer trump has would advise him against testifying to mueller. Trump hasn’t seen the same legal jeopardy regarding his affairs/assaults Bill did, but not from a lack of trying. The whole force of media, minus fox and consertive talk radio, have excoriated him since day one on the issue. It wasn’t until last year when the #metoo movement gained steam did major media heads come out and denounce Bill, after decades of cover, lest the be huge fucking hypocrites.

Bill was also a lawyer, so it was a big fucking deal.

That perjury charge had more impact on him as a lawyer than a BJ as president ever did.

The fact that it got to the point where Clinton was being investigated for a BJ was obviously a giant fishing expedition by the Republican House, but I agree that once he lied under oath, he had to be impeached. The integrity of the system necessitates it.

On the point of lying under oath, I feel like we should all be a lot more concerned that Trump's lawyers are asserting with their legal strategy, in essence, that Trump is incapable of being truthful under oath. Whether he has perjured himself to this point or not, admitting that you absolutely would perjure yourself is nearly as bad, especially when it comes to evaluating fitness for office.

I always thought Trumps saving grace would be that the stock Market was flying. Until today. I'm glad I don't have anything I need to buy right now.

I haven't seen whether or not Trump supports this or not but I'm interested to know if he is a 'borrow and spend' Republican or not. Probably so, he keeps crowing about all this money being pumped into the military and that it is falling apart without it. I guess another trillion in debt is no big deal now? Hopefully the Senate votes this thing down and they try again.

Maybe outside the context of this thread, but regardless, just to respond to you, I wanted a piece I could hand down to my son and eventual grandchildren. I'll pay more for quality.

    Two things:

    1) Is Bolton’s moustache on the same page as his toupee yet?

    2) Does Trump think it’s humourous to give these sort of positions of power to clinical raging psychopaths?

These reminders are painful. Hopefully, we see a viable third party at some point in the near future before we are spent into oblivion.

Even if a new party came around that was viable you really think they wouldn’t end up the same way? It’s other peoples money and it’s much easier getting re-elected giving your constituents more than it is being the strict belt tightening fiscal conservative. It’s human nature.

The tab hasn't come due yet. That won't always be the case, especially if there is a trade war on the horizon.
