Fucking brilliant. He was one of the most vocal anti-war candidates and it looks like the two war parties finally sunk their hooks in him. Disgraceful. I don't see eye-to-eye with Jimmy Dore all the time but I do agree with him when it comes to the wars. Really good take on it, edited this to include the source info Jimmy used - Tucker Carlson's piece on Fox. What is the Government/Media thinking? How can anyone think this is a good idea?
God like we haven't lobbed a couple of dozen tomahawks at dick weeds in the ME for decades, for a whole lot less.
The twitter account "TrumpCriticizesTrump" is fucking hilarious. https://www.reddit.com/r/TrumpCriticizesTrump/
What's amazing about TcT is that there is always a relevant tweet, and frequently more than one. Trump created a more comprehensive critique of his presidency in advance than any of his critics are able to create in real time.
Genuinely believing that Trump was ever anti-war is almost as funny as you not understanding why anyone could think he’s an idiot.
I guess I'm lost for words. As someone who values peace and diplomacy, I don't know what to say. Her extensive, and I don't know how you would describe it, experience in Libya points to 4 years of chickin hawkin', Trump's tweets and campaign message pointed elsewhere.
This whole media narrative where dictators have time to go around using bio weapons is getting old. If you’re going to commit genocide, why wouldn’t you use the most efficient means possible? Because bio weapons are for tv closeups and war mongering justification for the public.
Ive heard it speculated that the rebels have entrenched tunnel systems in some places and Assad uses it to smoke them out. An effective tool for the job but one he'd have to gamble would pay off in the long run faced with the inevitable international response to the action. Of course you also hear the rebels are using them as false flags too which claims carry as much weight. It seems on it's face these missile strikes were a very limited engagement option. Im not seeing this as some big push to get boots on the ground in another ME country, at least by our president. This is a guy who the media assured us should have started a thermonuclear war with North Korea already. I suggest taking the sky is falling on this situation with a grain of salt. Matt Tiabi's piece on our nations schizophrenic response to military action is pretty good.
The fact that Hannity is the "mystery third client" of Cohen is just fucking hilarious. You could not script this any better. "This witch hunt has to stop now... stop investigating Cohen..." Conflict of interest much?
For those of you that haven't heard yet... https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/do...-some-materials-seized-cohen-fbi-raid-n866226
Hannity claims Cohen wasn't representing him or whatever. If that's true, and Hannity just has some secrets, then he needs to get out in front of that shit right now, if he wants to save his career. I mean, if he had an affair, got addicted to pain pills, or did something he thinks would be embarrassing, but not illegal, that crap is going to get worse the longer he denies. But, if he buried a body during his construction days or is a pedophile or something, when that finally gets out? oof.
I can’t stop fucking laughing. Too bad he failed college, a high school diploma from a fake school for insane bibletards won’t get you much in way of a new job.
My favorite fact bout Cohen relates to his law school, Cooley. Cooley is widely regarded as the absolute worst law school in the country, but ranks itself as #2 in its self published rankings of law schools. It does this because it gives huge weight to like eighteen different metrics related to the size of the library while downplaying metrics like "bar passage rate" and "employment of graduates."
While the media focuses on pay-offs for infidelity and going after idealogues in the press; ordinary people are doing investigative journalism. If you read some of the excerpts from Comey's book - specifically how Obama's 60 Minutes interview and determination of Clinton's classified data leaks not being serious before the investigation was concluded was problematic and Questioning AG Lynch's independence in the investigation as well. Coupled with the OIG's report on McCabe which seriously points to DOJ and FBI being politicized to protect Clinton and attack Trump is going to get harder and harder to ignore. This deep dive of the McCabe report is an interesting read: https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/985570434841235456.html It's a shame it comes down to normal people using twitter accounts to conduct investigative journalism while the media ignores it.
Cohen is the most generous lawyer who ever lived. He gave $130,000 of his own money to silence a porn star, and he works for Hannity pro-bono. This is what Fox is tap-dancing with right now. Spoiler
