I find it really interesting how the exit polls show overwhelmingly that Trump is not fit for President, and they don't approve of how he treats women, etc, and yet they still voted for him. That and the number of women who didn't vote for Hillary. Speaks volumes about how powerful that "crooked Hillary" image is.

He has some very, very good ideas in his platform that escape the bubble thinking nonsense that is destroying our politics. Everyone projected he had no chance to win. The right wing media tried to discredit him, and then the left went all out. People want to say this happened because America is stupid, but it's not why he won.
Yeah I can see the other side's stance just fine: They want to eliminate women's ability to control their own sexuality. That's always been the goal; outlawing abortion is just one step along the way.

That is not what it's about and never has been. I agree with you on this issue, but I just look at the way you approach it and ask, why are you so fucking crazy? If the democrats are willing to admit that they're failing they need to start thinking about how they brand their stances. Don't brand against the lowest common denominator.
Well I think it has more to do with his populist appeal than conservatives will be wanting to admit. He didn't offer a Reagan-esque plan to blue collar folks but conservatives still wont be willing to accept his Bernie lite ideas.
