So now we think we know where the debt came from. Has anybody asked how it was paid off? And by whom?

I read some things about him taking it from his retirement or taking a loan against his retirement. But I’m not sure. It’s a lot of money to owe for “baseball tickets”.

He said he bought seasons tickets for 10 of his friends, and they all paid him back exactly what was owed.

It might be true.... but man, it's a bit of a stretch if you ask me.

High school? Sexual misconduct (Not rape...misconduct)?

Uhhh....I''m pretty sure all of us could be accused of sexual misconduct back in high school.

Making out, grab a boobie, she doesn't like it, stop grabbing boobie, keep making out, drive her home, go out on other dates....sexual misconduct 35 years later.

Remind me to never run for office or be nominated to SCOTUS. I'd be so fucked.

To me, the way DiFi’s statement was written, it sounds like somebody might have come forward “on behalf of” somebody else. Like “I know somebody whose friend told her that Kavanaugh did this in high school, but she doesn’t wanna go public.”

They say that the person in the letter has retained legal council.... so I'm thinking they're pretty involved, directly.

The really weird part (of the accuser's actions) is that they didn't want it to go public.

    WHAT?

Why the fuck would you raise it with Feinstein if you don't want it to be public?

"Here's some info that I want you to have but not use/share with the world."

I didn’t see the sentence where it said the “woman who is the subject of the letter” has representation.

I know it’s conspiracy theory-ish, I just saw in the article that the letter was “authored by someone affiliated with Stanford,” and it concerned Kavanaugh and “a woman while they were in high school.” As if the wording was intentionally vague.

Yeah...that’s what I meant - as in, my bad, I originally didn’t see the sentence. So I quoted it.

    And even more interesting:

NBC News: There's only two counts in the criminal information filed by Robert Mueller so that IMPLIES that not only has Paul Manafort agreed to plead guilty but he's also struck an agreement with Mueller.

And that is just one lackey of one politician. Think about it. If we did this with all of them we'd be able to pay off like half the debt. That's a financial plan I could get behind.

One interesting part of the agreement is that Manafort waived having his attorneys present at his proffer sessions. Supposedly his lawyers had been in contact with Trumps team so far. I think he was trying for a pardon. Getting that pardon opens him up to state charges which Trump cannot give a pardon to.

I mean, that is true, whether they did anything illegal or not. Manafort's partner Davis, did the same for John McCain. Why do you think Trump hired Manafort-Davis to begin with? They both worked on Dole's presidential bid, and had lots of Washington insider connections. They were paid lobbyists, primarily openly working for Russian interests for a number of years.
