Yeah, I know man... it's almost impossible to believe it could happen... but, well... I just don't know...
How bad do you have to be as a Congressman when your 6 siblings publicly endorse your opponent? https://www.businessinsider.com/pau...is-opponent-david-brill-in-campaign-ad-2018-9 One can only imagine what their family politics are like. EDIT: And 538 has the opponent's chances of winning at < 0.1% https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2018-midterm-election-forecast/house/arizona/4/
I watched it. He did very well. I also think Cruz is a slimy reptile person. I’m not sure how much it moved the needle for Beto though. Cruz is a very skilled debater. He has a preacher-like quality to his speech that resonates with people, even when he’s spewing straight garbage. Beto was very charismatic and did a good job. But in the end, debates don’t mean a whole lot to me. Unless someone straight up shits the bed and says something fucked up, not much changes.
Trump's going after social media for being mean to him: https://www.bloombergquint.com/busi...ould-crack-down-on-google-facebook#gs.0msgxJ4 Bloomberg) -- The White House has drafted an executive order for President Donald Trump’s signature that would instruct federal antitrust and law enforcement agencies to open probes into the practices of Alphabet Inc.’s Google, Facebook Inc., and other social media companies. “Social Media is totally discriminating against Republican/Conservative voices,” Trump said on Twitter in August. “Speaking loudly and clearly for the Trump Administration, we won’t let that happen. They are closing down the opinions of many people on the RIGHT, while at the same time doing nothing to others.” We'll see how this goes.
How do you not see the problem with Google ranking a BBC article about proven Republican crimes above my photoshopped meme of Obama as an African witch doctor? This is against the First Amendment.
GOP Spokesperson on Kavanaugh resigns amid sexual harassment claims The optics on this aren't good. I can't help but be amused though.
This is the same advisor who worked with Ed Whelan to push that theory that it was another classmate of Kavanaugh's. The sexual harassment stuff is the public cover for the fact that someone who works for the chairman of the committee was slandering the accuser.
Dibs on the band name. Notice in the article how it says the pill mixed with other street drugs in the pregnant woman's system. If you've never seen a child who's born addicted to drugs, it's the saddest thing ever. I hope they both rot.
I dream of all the big tech companies basically fucking over Trump's team using the Net Neutrality laws that they pushed through, totally legally. Then remove all of Trump's social media access, or ANY official posting access, citing their exact complaint as justification.
In a perfect world. Did he already forget his little lap dog Pai would be the first person to blame for this latest tantrum? Funny how impulsive and bad ideas can come back to bite you on the balls, huh? Hysterical, actually.
Something interesting I saw that makes me like CNN a little less had to do with a panel of women they had on for a segment asking if they believed Kavanaugh’s accuser. All 5 women proceeded to shit all over the woman. That’s not really my issue here. What they failed to tell the viewers was that each of those women were GOP officials of some sort where they lived who have even sought elected offices. All CNN describes them as was “republican voter”. While not completely untrue, I feel they should have disclosed that these weren’t just random republican females. It looks like an attempt on their part to smear conservative women who may have a more nuanced view of the situation.
