This is a person who gets death threats and the overall reaction is “Okay...but so the fuck what?” As deserved. She’s a sociopath who doesn’t give a shit about anybody living or dying, and scorn directed at her is in her. The only thing she does is take up space.
I legitimately don't know how that family can survive her. I want to physically strangle my heavily trumper in-laws every time I see them, with the "I'm the smartest person in the room" attitude that comes with being part of that cult. Can you imagine being married to one? I could also see them seeing the writing on the wall, realizing that everyone associated with him is about to be at the very least investigated, and getting the fuck out of dodge before the storm hits. The daughter's tweets make it pretty clear that the family is exactly as dysfunctional as you'd expect when the wife works for Donald Trump and the husband has dedicated all of his energies to opposing Donald Trump. I think her going public with the dysfunction has forced the issue.

Both Kellyanne and George stepped away from their (very opposed) positions at the same time, right after Claudia publicly announced she was seeking emancipation. Definitely seems like their daughter pushed the "blow it all the fuck up" button, and they had no choice but to react. Unlikely either was fired from their position.
The Canadian Federal Conservative party had their leadership vote last night. As you can imagine it was a dumpster fire from start to finish. They were so behind schedule that people were freaking out because they pushed past the newspaper print deadline. This morning after a night of thunder storms and heavy rain I work up to learn that the Conservative faithful chose... ....drumroll.... ....Erin O’Toole who is most well known for cutting a Billion Dollars from Veterans Affairs just as Canada's mission in Afghanistan ended. He beat the front runner on the third ballot by pulling in support from the fringe "social" conservative candidates. In recent polling a Conservative Party led by Erin O'Toole looks to face a significantly steeper challenge in the next election then Peter MacKay, the front runner, would have faced due to his platform conflicting directly with the values held by non conservative voters. It remains to be seen if Erin O'Toole is dumb enough to try to force an election during the Post Crown Speech confidence vote that is scheduled for early October. But there is a chance that Canadians will be voting in a Federal election during the peak of America Presidential Election Fiesta? Fuckshow? Season.
I honestly don’t see how, for Kellyanne anyway, it’s not too little too late. It took her daughter deciding to end the relationship to make her somewhat switch course. That kid is absolutely done with her family.
The fucking selfishness to take a high profile position as a propagandist for the Trump administration while having a teenage daughter in the age of social media should have given Kellyanne more pause before taking on such a role. She’s not a dumb woman. She knows what’s going on. She chose to be one of the worst people in the admin and in a high profile public role to boot. Her kid pushing the big red button on their life was completely appropriate. She basically ruined her kid’s teenage years.
