It shouldn't because no one is going to have a beer or cup of coffee with him, but I get it. Relatability is important. Harris' campaign was torpedoed by Tulsi Gabbard I think, at least that's the general understanding. Her general arrogance didn't help either. I don't really understand why primaries are staggered the way they are. The candidates should campaign like a normal election and voting should be held on the same day in Q1 of the election year. 6 months of 30 candidates campaigning state-to-state until they each run out of money is stupid.
Joe Biden has a speech impediment. He has a stutter. This is apparently not common knowledge around here. https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2020/01/joe-biden-stutter-profile/602401/ https://www.stutteringhelp.org/content/joe-biden
Apparently knowing the difference between a stutter and gaffe isn't either. Neither xrayvision nor I said anything about how he says things.
Wow, it's like you chose to not read what I linked which explained how those gaffes aren't gaffes and are the result of his stutter. The article was written by someone has a stutter, so I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt over someone who might have an unfavorable opinion based on assholes making fun of someone's speech impediment.
I know he has a stutter. It seems to be more prominent when stressed out. When Trump was hurling his feces all night, it showed more than usual. I actually felt bad for Biden because Trump is a fundamentally indecent person.
He said the other day that KKK (and Antifa) are terrorist groups. He could come back and say what you said, that he was repeating the line, and just flubbed saying "stand by," when he mean to repeat "stand down." But, he even if that's true, he won't say it, simply because he's too arrogant to admit he made a mistake.
Am I the only one who was blown away when Trump didn't start bragging about his new healthcare plan? It was literally the first question of the night, and he just made some generic statements, and then kind of trailed off.
Biden should have countered with his plan to invent a Reactionless Propulsion Drive and a chemical spray that turns dog turds into platinum, but he’ll only make it happen if he gets elected. Romney attempted this with in his election with the impression of I’m rich. And I’ll tell you how to get rich, too. Just elect me as President and I’ll reveal the secret.
Well, that was a total shitshow. Amazing, perfect! Trump owned. The entire debate was around who loves cops more, who hates antifa more, who was going to jerk off the wealthiest more, who supports white nationalists more, who wants to deny the average person healthcare more.
Looks like a lot of people are saying “dear God, just cancel the rest.” Which is probably what both campaigns want anyway, to be honest
Trump really, really, REALLY does not like being forced into denouncing extremist/hate groups. I’m sure it has nothing to do with anything.
He squirmed like he was wearing a diving suit filled with scorpions. Just fucking say what we all know: “thank you for the votes, hate groups.”
They both take votes from anyone who is handing them out. The zingers are hot fire from the GoP side because they have a coherent ideology and they're willing to push it.
