I wish he'd brought this energy to his interview of Trump's campaign manager on this same episode. She steamrolled him, buried him in a flood of bullshit and he was too polite to payload her back. The usual MO, you tell a blatant lie and double down loud enough to drown out any correction.
In other news, Trump has predictably fired the "the election was conducted properly" guy: https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1328852352787484677
Also, the Michigan board of canvassers is deadlocked because the 2 Republican members on the board refuse to certify the election because of the crime of voting while black. One member said she would be okay certifying the rest of state except for the votes from Detroit. edit: it’s the Wayne county board, not the state.
And now after a few hours of solid public pressure, they have voted unanimously to certify the results in Wayne county.
So we're going to have to apply pressure to make sure these clowns don't overturn the will of the people. That's just great. People need to go to jail over this shit.
I agree. They quickly relented when people started combing through their social media profiles and showing the world all the racist shit they had on there. These two dipshits got famous real quick.
And then they suddenly changed their minds so quickly. Sounds like the GOP are trying to commit fraud and steal this election.
Yes. This is the result of a shifting electorate. White conservatives are no longer the majority of the country’s population. While the gop had a good election down ballot, they know that imposing minority rule over the whole population isn’t sustainable. There’s a good chance that by the time all the ballots across the country are counted, Biden will have won by nearly 7 million votes. It’s also one of the reasons Mitch has been so aggressive with filling the federal courts with Trump stooges because they know time is limited and if they can appoint enough judges in their late 30’s to early 40’s, they can ensure conservative rule for generations even if they don’t have the White House or senate. Also, removing the 2/3 vote for the federal bench and Supreme Court has turned politics into a zero sum game. It started when Cruz and Cornyn blocked Obama from seating any judges so Harry Reid used the first nuclear option and made it a regular majority. In response, McConnell used it on the Supreme Court so now we have this tit for tat game where people like Lindsey Graham take constant revenge on the Dems as a justification for something Harry Reid “started”. Democracy was only a great system as long as it worked for conservative white people. As soon as shit looked dicey, suddenly we have “irregularities” in the vote numbers in Atlanta and Detroit. As it stands right now, the gop looks to be on track to take back the house in 2 years. That was not an expected turn.
Did any of y'all hear about how Lindsey Graham tried to get the Georgia Secretary of State to throw out legally cast ballots? Because y'all should know about that.
Yes, and admitted to talking to a couple of other states. I'd like to hear how he got thrown in jail over it but I'm not holding my breath.
