Yeah, but as I said earlier, it’s not up to him to say where the red line is. Leadership failure. He still was way too comfortable and friendly with the protesters. If he was told that was the red line, different story.
And if he’s compensated like police chiefs throughout the country, his fuckup will be rewarded with a nice windfall from unused sick days and a cushy pension. Fuck him.
He should, once you watch videos like this. They weren’t even pushing on the barricade or attacking. The police walked up, opened it, and let them in. Can we step back for a second and appreciate the context of this? This is the headquarters of what people once thought was the most powerful country in the world. Every single person that hates the USA is watching this and thinking “Why would I fly planes into buildings, when I can just walk right through the fucking door with a suitcase nuke?”
He finished the job Bin Laden started. His work is done. Now, nobody charge him or his snickering cronies with anything until Biden is sworn in.
Anyone else think someone slapped this speech on the desk and said, “Don, read this or it’s the 25th.”
Well, sure... if you discount killing hundreds of thousands of Americans due to his fucking retarded approach to COVID and the huge fucking wedge he drove into the country.
One of my friends, her cousin is a photojournalist for the AP, was inside the Capitol yesterday. You've seen his pictures. Some of them have been linked in this thread. I wish I could express how helpless it felt seeing the horror coming from inside, knowing that someone you care about, one of their relatives is there and in danger and knowing there is nothing you can do about it. It will be interesting to see what happens to those who are identified. It's a mix of numbness and anger right now, and both come in waves. I hope this never happens again.
Your president was directly responsible for treasonous, terrorist acts yesterday. That’s not a tantrum, he’s not “kind of a dick”. He should be swinging from gallows for what he did with COVID, with yesterday, with his idiotic trade tariffs, beating protesters so he could pose at a church, his disgusting and retarded campaign speeches, his hiring and firing of criminals that he surrounds himself with, his sneering little shitheel son-in-law, his piece-of-shit children, his side-taking in Charlottesville, his support of police brutality and his refusal to a knowledge its issues, his future fun with the lawyers in New York, his denial of fucking hookers and paying them off, his sleaze bag lawyers, the fact he’s declared bankruptcy four times, sold his airlines while they were in mid flight, only has money now that is to a $400 million dollar daddy inheritance, fed fast food to all American athletes like it was cool and during his presidency there have been riots, everywhere- in every major city— all the time under his watch and did nothing that helped cool the situation, in fact he stoked the flames, yadda, yadda yadda Stop pawning him off like all of those things and many more aren’t a big deal on an individual basis. For fuck’s sake.
I see the president elect has decided to start healing the country by saying if they were BLM protestors they would've been treated differently. Because that's exactly what the country needs to hear right now...the police and the rest of us are a bunch of racist. "No one can tell me that if it had been a group of Black Lives Matter protesting yesterday, they wouldn't have been treated very, very differently than the mob of thugs that stormed the Capitol. We all know that's true, and it is unacceptable. Totally unacceptable."
This is probably going to come off a bit harsher than I intend, but you guys realize that it's going to be nothing but "fuck your feelings" from here on out, right? That the era of limitless patience and endless coddling is over. I can't think of a single thing that matters less to a good chunk of the country right now than the hurt feelings of the crowd that subjected us to Trump. Whatever goodwill that may have previously existed has been clearly and totally spent.
Well...yeah. If it was BLM protesters there's no question that the police would have opened fire on them and mowed them down. Shit man, they gassed and beat them over a fucking Trump photoshoot. Edit: What Aetius said.
