This is funny I don’t care who you are: Our fact checkers have found this video lacks context and lies through nocturnal emission.
Trump campaign paid 2.7 million to get 5 people killed. https://twitter.com/SpiroAgnewGhost/status/1352677699261591554
Is this really any different than Lindsey Graham arguing that impeaching a former President goes against Supreme Court tumescent?
He always has been. The Onion's long running "Joe Biden" character was worthy of whatever the fake-satire-newspaper equivalent of a Pulitzer was.
He's basically the living incarnation of Grampa Simpson. Which leads me to wonder if he has any old belts that still have onions on them.
Christ. He’ll generate more legitimate laughter out of that one gaff then his cousin Amy will for the rest of her career.
A few weeks ago I couldn't say good bye to a lifelong friend as she lay dying because of Covid restrictions, but the Biden's get to ignore a law that Grandpa Joe himself signed into effect a few hours earlier because it's a special occasion? Sorry, but that doesn't sit real well with me right now.
So let me get this straight. You're mad at Biden, the guy who wasn't in office when your friend passed, had zero responsibility fighting or preventing the pandemic when it started, and just signed an executive order requiring a mask on federal land? I think I'd be more upset with Trump doing jackshit to prevent the other 400,000 plus deaths then be mad at Biden taking a photo with his family. But maybe that's just me.
Well, Toytoy, he's president of the United States now. He can do whatever he wants without repercussions, because he now has the other two branches of government behind him. Trump proved that you can get away with doing all manner of shady shit if you just have ONE. Man, Biden's going to go apeshit...
The problem is, Biden had just signed an EO mandating masks on all federal property. And then completely ignored it. I'm actually kind of surprised with all the upset posts on this board about people not wearing masks, now some of the same people are making excuses for someone not wearing one. Just so I'm clear, is there a separate set of rules for some people regarding wearing a mask because of their political affiliation?
Yeah, look back on when Trump didn't wear a mask to some factory back when Covid was just starting up. Nobody stopped him. Toytoy, I know that you don't like the Democrats - shit, I don't like the Democrats. But they're in power now. Live with it, or join some "NOT MY PRESIDENT!!!" protest. Either option will accomplish the same end.
Actually, I don't like Republicans either. I also don't like double standards and that's what I'm seeing here...rules for thee, but not for me.
Think about the standard you held Trump to and then think about what you’re requiring of Biden. If you take a second to reflect on the gap between those two, you will understand that your attack on Biden here is just bad faith horseshit.
To your first point I would ask exactly the same thing to others. We've got four years of "Look what Trump did now!" posts on this board and archived from the media. Imagine if Trump did what Biden just did, it would've been an uproar from the media. From what I've seen most outlets haven't even mentioned it. And I will agree with you that I don't give a shit if Biden & family wore masks. I do give a shit that he just made a law he expects the rest of us to follow and promptly broke it himself with no outcry. I find that concerning and telling as to how fractured this country is.
NOW YOU'RE GETTING IT! From the highest office in the land, to City officials, IT IS ALWAYS RULES FOR THEE, NOT FOR ME. Are you starting to see why I hate cops?
You’re concerned about how fractured the country is, so you try to score cheap political gotcha hypocrite points on an issue you explicitly and admittedly don’t give a shit about? Stop shitposting and be the change you wish to see in the world or whatever the fuck Ghandi said.
I'm not here to argue with you. I'm not trying to score "Points". I already stated what I was upset about, but you ignored it. Pure and simple, the sitting president signed something into law and publicly broke his own law within hours and people are either defending it or ignoring it. Either you think that's ok or you don't, that's your prerogative.
The thing is, though, he didn't break the executive order he signed. Sec. 2. Immediate Action Regarding Federal Employees, Contractors, Buildings, and Lands. (a) The heads of executive departments and agencies (agencies) shall immediately take action, as appropriate and consistent with applicable law, to require compliance with CDC guidelines with respect to wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and other public health measures by: on-duty or on-site Federal employees; on-site Federal contractors; and all persons in Federal buildings or on Federal lands. I get that now that he's in there, people are going to nit pick every little thing that he does, but in this case, he didn't do anything wrong. He was following the pre-existing guidelines, and the order that he signed just said the dept heads will take action to require compliance with those guidelines. And I also get that it probably was not a good look for him for a number of reaons, but by the same token, I'm willing to cut him some slack in this case, given their track record, and the actions they have taken over the last few days. I get that you feel pissed, and sure, you're entitled to feel that way, and I'm not going to tell you you're wrong. I, on the other hand, don't feel pissed, for a number of reasons.
