Domestically? Nothing. The average American didn't care when we were killing Afghanis and they won't care that Afghanis are killing Afghanis. Biden won't get a lot of credit for ending the war, because no one gets credit for something widely considered a failure, but no one is going to knock him for ending it either. We're just going to pull our troops home and pretend we never really went there in the first place.
God I hate our politics. Biden never supported defunding the police, most jurisdictions didn't defund their police, and the few that did haven't really taken effect yet. Yet somehow "defund the police" is going to be blamed for a nationwide rise in crime. And of course Fox News and the like will highlight this rise by talking about cities not with the highest crime rate, but just the most liberal cities. Somehow the crime in New York City will be an emergency, even though New York's murder rate isn't even the highest in its own state (enjoy Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse) and is solidly below the national murder rate. I never hear this crime panic about Birmingham, Kansas City, or Memphis, despite all three being in the top 10 most-murdery cities in the country. There was a recent Fox graphic claiming murders in Portland had gone up 800%. They hadn't, they had gone up ~40%. But the city was so safe to begin with that even the alleged 800% increase would have left them outside the top 10. Anchorage's murder rate is ~30% higher than Los Angeles, yet nobody handwrings about visiting that den of moose fucking.
Those are all run by Democrats, too, so I’m not sure what point you’re making. The fact is it was terrible messaging that over a dozen major cities translated into some form of policy or budgetary measure. The result was a disaster and the Democrats are panicking because it’s sticking to them like glue. What did they think was going to happen when they handicapped law enforcement? I’m still waiting for the unarmed community activists and social workers to make a splash.
The governors and state legislatures are Republican. What policy? Other than cops claiming "blue flu" because they hate the idea of having to do their jobs correctly, what meaningful changes have occurred? Especially a change that has been implemented so evenly and universally that it is impacting nearly every jurisdiction in the country.
NYC alone cut $1 billion from its police budget last year. Minneapolis tried to disband its police force altogether, but ended up just cutting the budget when someone accidentally made a couple brains cells work together. D.C. wanted to defund it’s police but then increased it 20% after 1/6. Even symbolic, knee-jerk reactions have consequences.
If DC increased its police budget by 20%, why didn't its crime rate move in the opposite direction from NYC? Also if the issue is lack of policing, you would expect to see the issue most prominently in crimes that are deprioritized, like property crime, but you actually see the opposite: property crime down while murder is up.

That state desperately needs to be flipped. I don’t know how THAT many people keep electing the biggest retards in the universe in Texas, I mean talk about having a dim voting sense.
We’ll never know if the irony of this was lost on Abbott because you can’t hear anything over the sound of the marbles in his mouth.
Only this time, right wing militias and "oath keeper's" will volunteer to bring them in instead of "protect" them from the state
That’s what your country needs: a massive, nationally-blanketed society Minutemen watching all of you, all the time. Self-trained grade school dropouts with guns imposing themselves as judge and jury, the way everybody wants it.
Yeah but they keep retards in the public school system here until their 21, then they go to L.A. and move into the tent cities.
