    Pelosi has vetoed Jordan and Banks, and McCarthy has responded by pulling all Republicans from the commission. Unclear at this point if that includes Cheney (who was a Pelosi pick, not a McCarthy one).

    If one of those republicans who McCarthy pulled decided to participate could they?

    Or do they need McCarthy's sign-off to participate?

    Because now would be a good time for Republicans to decide that they believe in country over party.

    Pelosi already appointed Cheney as one of her original selections, and McCarthy said he was only pulling HIS 5 nominees, so I'm guessing Cheney will stay on. Not sure if now that he's withdrawn his full list Pelosi will now nominate OTHER Republican's in defiance of McCarthy.

    They think she's a weak snowflake who is embarrassing the United States (because suddenly they care about what the rest of the world thinks about us I guess, even though the UN literally laughing in Trump's face was met with "who cares what those Eurofags think") by not being "tough" enough to compete. This is part of their long-running obsession with perceptions of strength and weakness (not in any way a noted feature of fascism).

    The truth is that she has the gymnastics version of "the yips" (which gymnasts call "the twisties"). Unlike the yips, which leads to hilarious throws 10 feet over the first baseman's head, the twisties can get you killed because of the whole "might land on neck" thing.
