They actually quantified the willful ignorance of Trump voters: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...485359326859&tid=ss_tw&utm_term=.f999ca37073f
I have never seen the Main Stream Media lose their collective shit as much as they have in the last 5 days with Trump. I have to say it's entertaining as hell watching them get their panties in a bunch. But it does seem more like an atomic wedgie.
Separate subject and what I find most interesting lately is this trend: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...Zealand-bolthole-case-west-goes-meltdown.html The rich, the "innovators" of our society seem to be getting quite nervous. If they were doing things in a ethical manner, why would they worry about their safety? If they were doing things ethically why would they worry about the survivability of our society going forward? Now, don't sit there and try to reason this as a reaction to Trump. This has been a long time building, Bernie Sanders appeal is a direct reflection of this as well, 10 years ago Bernie would be laughed out of the room as a moonbat. Anyways, if they are that worried about it and think they are going to escape the end of all things as we know it by running to NZ, they clearly haven't thought through how that will work. The Maori are rather provincial as it is, once they realize they have the people responsible for the global meltdown on their hands, I can't imagine it will go well for them.
There are plenty of people in Chicago that feel the same way. The issues are complex to be sure, but I think an overall end, or even improvement, to the warzone on the South Side would be preferable to any sort of political jockeying or discussion. Honestly, you'd be surprised how many people from outside of the Great Lakes region think Chicago is like Beirut, like "dont go there period". My sister's bf is from DC, his mom is educated and intelligent, and she was legitimately worried for his safety when they visited me in the fall. Its a media issue all over.
Looks like we'll get the first interesting dance between Mattis and Trump sooner than I expected: http://www.politico.com/story/2017/01/torture-mattis-pompeo-defense-234180
So apparently Trump believes in voter fraud because one guy, who wasn't allowed to vote in the first place, was turned away. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/25/us/politics/trump-bernhard-langer-voting-fraud.html
His ego can't handle the fact that even though he still won the election, less people voted for him. It MUST be some other reason.
Just read this on CNN (I only check it out of morbid curiosity anymore) And I realized... at some point, and I think sooner rather than later, Trump's twitter is gonna get hacked. It's too big a target not to. I can't wait for that moment. Though I'm not sure which will be more hilarious: what happens during the hacking, or trump's ensuing meltdown.
I do enjoy the fact that his claim about California translates to the illegal immigrant population of California having a roughly 100% voter turnout.
I also enjoy the idea that we managed to sneakily get - what was the number again? - 3-5 million illegal immigrants to vote and thought "Where should we focus these efforts? Where would these votes be most useful? Florida? Pennsylvania? Wisconsin? Nah let's just pile them all up in California."
It makes good security sense to keep social media on an island of its own, and not have it tied, at all, to any internal/official systems. That way if the intern that runs the Twitter account fucks up, Best Korea doesn't get the nuke codes.
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/25/us/politics/trump-bernhard-langer-voting-fraud.html?ref=politics So Trump's story (disputed by the supposed source to begin with) is that a friend of his, who was attempting to vote illegally himself, saw some brown people while he was at the polling station. And that's why Trump lost the popular vote.
Speaking of security, Trump apparently tweets from a Galaxy S3. Which hasn't received an Android update since 4.4. Not to mention he's got to be as susceptible to phishing and other scams as your average grandmother is. The fact that the phone hasn't been ripped from his hands and his twitter account shut down is pretty mindblowing from a security perspective.
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/25/...media-security.html?smid=fb-nytimes&smtyp=cur Times is reporting he's still got the old one.
I have alternative facts. https://www.foxnews.com/tech/2017/0...for-more-secure-device.amp.html?client=safari
Yeah, I saw that when I checked it. I'm on my phone so can't dig into it but it would be interesting to see why.
What is scarier: Trump lying his ass off at every turn or being so deranged he actually believes what he is saying? Edit: I think I got it Trump lying = super fucking scary Trump deranged = scarier still The fact that the American people were dumb enough to elect him = scariest of all.
