Globalism, America First and whatever the hell “Dark MAGA” is. I’m just surprised there’s nothing in there about the Jews, but I’m going to assume it’s implied with the commentary on globalism.

He hired the Nichols brothers to write his speeches now? He’s so passionate, you can actually feel the valour being stolen while you read that laughingstock of a statement.

in light of recent events, I've been asked a lot lately where I think the line should be on gun ownership. I make no qualms about being a largely left-leaning gun supporter. I believe that "innocent until proven guilty" should be applied to gun ownership as well, and by not allowing people to own firearms we are de facto saying they are guilty before they ever committed a crime.

That being said, there certainly are some people who clearly should not be allowed to own them. And this cousin fucking piece of shit is one of them. That little rant being a wonderful example of why not. Somewhere around the part about "we have an enemy to defeat" and "their days are numbered" I believe the "fighting words" restriction on the first amendment should also be applied to the second.

Or if nothing else, just straight up fuck this guy. He'll like it anyway.

Well he did spell "gentle" as "gentile" so that's probably adjacent.

He’s like Milo Yiannopoulos without the gay hostility. Or with it, who knows.

The sad part is, I asked "because of his tweets, or because he's a member of Congress?"
If it's the latter, I agree. The former....meh?

Because of both. He holds a certain of power and influence now that "civilians" who tweet don't. I'd also argue that trump's comments about going to the Capitol were fighting words as well. Ordinary crazy person on the street says it? Whatever, they're a lunatic yelling at the crowd. A politician says it? Instant removal, and we're taking their deadly weapons just to be sure. What's that quote, like from spiderman or some shit, "with great power comes great responsibility"? When take that office, you're taking on more responsibility. You're held to a higher standard. If you don't act like it, then you should face a higher standard.

cat is out of the bag and it ain't going back in. That's why I would much prefer it if everyone (with a clear background and who passed mandated yearly safety and training hours) had a gun except for those glaringly obvious cases like the nazi cousin shithole fucker discussed above.

Can you imagine if Trump actually said something like this, and CNN spent a whole news cycle talking about a president getting his advice from Marvel Comics, and whether that was grounds to invoke the 25th amendment?

Just so we're clear, COVID is such a non-issue that mandates are tyranny and no one should ever be even slightly inconvenienced by efforts to slow the spread, but it's also such a deadly threat that the Executive repealing Title 42 is illegal.

This logic brought to you by the letter "nation-wide injunctions issue by a Trump appointee."

Hey Aetius, what do you think the net benefit is of adding hundreds of thousands of unskilled laborers into this country?

What do you even do for a living?

    I shitpost here obviously.

But the point is there's a proper system for legislating immigration levels, and an emergency health protocol implemented for COVID isn't it. The main thing Title 42 does, and the reason conservatives are clinging to it, is that it gets around US asylum laws.

    And under budget!

You know, because you won’t have to pay the workers as much.

    Because they don’t deserve it.
