I've been saying for a long time that I'm not convinced "she" is a biological female. Specifically, I got banned from tpusa when I said that she looked like Mickey Rourke in The Wrestler, and some dipshit got mad that I brought up "her" appearance. My reply was : "She's an ugly woman. Would you have sex with her?" Next morning, I got a notice that I was permabanned for hate-speech. Pretty much the same story on r/politics. Keep in mind that OTHER people say much worse shit over there daily, but as usual, I get made an example of. Story of my life.
My question is, who does the GOP have lined up to primary Boebert? Is her seat up this year? EDIT: So it is. And like Cawthorn, I'm betting she's proved toxic enough in her tenure that the GOP doesn't want her running again. She only won by 15k votes the first time.
Unlikely. Remember, it's a popularity contest and having one's name in the news is a surefire way to develop an advantage. Cawthorn was probably an anomaly, MTG won hers handily, and the WaPo profile of the lunatics canvassing for her was truly scary. In SC, the GOP rep who voted to impeach Trump lost by a landslide, but the rep backed by Nikki Haley won over the Trump canddiate.
Whatever it/she has going on downstairs, I bet it looks like a catcher's mitt dropped in a wood chipper. Her smiling at a pregnant woman probably gives the baby palsy. She's so fucking toxic, I bet her period just looks like those youtube videos where they change the oil in a car for the first time in 50,000 miles, just drizzling lumpy black sludge. She's the only person who listens to conspiracy theories of child rape, mutilation and murder and gets aroused, and then looks at Mitch McConnell's jowls, and gets even wetter.
Does anyone here ever look at a picture of a political figure they don’t like, and just think “well that person sucks,” and then go on with their day?
In other news, that dumb bimbo Mayra Floor-S* won the special election for District 34. The name "Mayra" does not inspire confidence. It's like the female version of "Leroy" or "Roscoe." This is the same woman who listed being a mother of four as a qualification. So you can take a cream-pie like a champ; that's just what I want in my elected officials. Is that why people voted for Pete Buttigieg? *Her last name is "Flores," but she pronounces it "Floor-S." What is even stranger is that she pronounces the name of her home town (Burgos, Tamaulipas, Mexico) in perfect Spanish. Pander much, you dumb cunt?
But "floor-s" is the correct pronunciation...? Were you expecting "floors" or what? This feels personal.
So you’re taking issue with… *shuffles deck, draws a card*… her pronouncing towns correctly? Wasn’t she born in Mexico?
She's pronouncing her name like a white person who doesn't know a lick of Spanish, is what I'm saying. Why would she do this? To make herself appealing to white Republican voters, maybe?
I get it now, she's putting a little English on the cue ball. Same reason someone like Enrique Tarrio wouldn't be caught dead rolling all those R's.
I thought it was perfect Spanish? You’d rather her degrade the use of her native language so she can talk to other Mexican-Americans? I guess I don’t get it. Either way, it's not terribly surprising; Latino support for Democrats has been declining.
I don't care about her pronunciation in English or Spanish, I care about the fact that she's a Q-nut, or at the very least openly caters to them.
She isn't pronouncing the O and the R with a Spanish accent, but she pronounces her hometown perfectly. She's whitewashing her name, which is very common among Latino Republicans. Ex: Ted "Cancun " Cruz. Real name: Rafael Cruz, with "Cruz" pronounced "Cruse" (don't forget to roll that R!), not "Crews."
