OJ deserves to be hounded for the rest of his life. Casey Anthony deserves to be hounded for the rest of her life (and gang raped by criminally insane prisoners). George Zimmerman deserves to be hounded for the rest of his life. They all killed people who didn't deserve it, they all skated because of courtroom fuck-ups and defense attourneys that argued better. Zimmerman is a loser-liar-moron. You can say he didn't murder Martin all you want, but it is because of him-- and ONLY him-- that he is dead, from a decision that he made against even the cops' request. So, fuck him. He can pull an Ariel Castro for all I care, not a single tear will roll down my cheek. If anyone can think that a guy can stalk a teenager minding his own business in his own neighbourhood via stereotype profiling, kill him, and not be criminally responsible in any way then they're as stupid as the jury who thought the same thing. Usually I hate stalking by media, but on occasion people who do monstrous things just have to lie in the bed they make.
To piggyback what Crown said, how many of you have been pulled over for speeding twice within like a month? How many of you have gotten into some sort of altercation with a lady what, less than 2 weeks after the last run in with the law? How many of you would have made the conscious decision that under the circumstances, knowing the media is watching and waiting, to think now would be a good time to tour a gun shop? Don't get me wrong I get why the guy needs a gun, especially right now. He fears for his life. He fears someone will do to him what he was acquitted for and he should. Either he is just fucking stupid or has balls the size of a donkey balls.
Exactly. Some people (including a few in this thread) seem to think that the media is not being very fair to these folks who just want to get on with their lives. While there's certainly situations where the media ruins lives who have been unfairly convicted in the court of public opinion, do any of the above listed individuals deserve a modicum of your sympathy?
That's some fucked up Canadian logic. Following someone (at night in the rain) is not a crime, nor is it stalking. Zimmerman even stuck to public roads. You're using stalking as a scare word. And it was ruled a killing in self-defense, which is what the little eye witness testimony there was, confirmed. He may have kept following Martin against the cops wishes, but who cares. Should everyone do everything the cops say? That's a stupid argument. Speaking of the cops, Zimmerman wasn't charged initially at all, until it was trumped up in the media and politicians got involved because there wasn't even good evidence for pressing charges, much less acquittal. And since you mentioned stereotyping for some reason, are you aware that black males commit a (very) disproportionately large percentage of the crime in the US? That "stereotyping" was actually pretty reasonable.
Depends. When the cops want into your house without a search warrant, probably a good idea to say no. When they warn you about taking a fundamentally unsafe action such as approaching a person you believe to be dangerous, it sounds like good advice. The crimes in Zimmerman's neighbourhood he was concerned about, they were B&Es, right (seriously, I'm too lazy to look it up so I'm asking)? Anything violent, such as rapes or murders, or with the potential for violence, like a home invasion? Because if they weren't, then Deputy Dipshit ended up killing a teenager because he was scared about him potentially stealing people's stuff.
Yeah I think they were B&Es, but that doesn't mean he killed the kid because he was afraid for people's stuff. Only that he followed him and called the cops because of that. He killed him because the kid was banging his head against the concrete while he (Zimmerman) was in no position to stop him. He had reasonable cause to fear for his own life.
Clearly, the next step for Z-man is to hook up with OJ's agent and write his book "Skittles Happens."
Someone get this guy a plastic badge and an intimidating flashlight. But a gun? I suppose if legally blind people can own firearms anything is possible. Which brings up a tangental question to anyone that's sold ammo- Can you sell to the retarded? If someone with a serious case of extra chromosome wanted to buy 500 rounds, would you sell it to them?
Are you really that fucking stupid. Try google. Maybe you should find a different thread to showcase your stupidity.
Same source. Same source. As far as him purchasing a weapon: Same source. And he did try to purchase a "long gun" rifle from a local shop but was turned away because he did not want to wait for the required 14-day background check,
Kubla is right, though. The media DOES want him hung by his thumbs so badly that they will fabricate the truth for the sale of firing eferyone up. This latest thing with him went from him punching his father-in-law and waving a gun around at his ex to..... Smashing an iPad.
And this is precisely my biggest issue with the current media. Information is available so fast, often before it's actually information as opposed to supposition, that the media has become a giant game of 'telephone' with a bunch of retards who were never there commenting on what happened. There's some analogy of the cave and Plato comment waiting there somewhere. Judge slowly. I urge that on every thread on TiB. Wait til we actually know what happened, not what some bubble headed bleach blonde who comes on at 5 says happened.
Whoa, now, these are serious issues, but I don't think we need to be going all Don Henley on anybody.
Well, to be fair, all those things were said by the ex-wife on the 911 call. Not the waving the gun around thing, I think she said that he touched his gun or something like that. I haven't read any articles because I'm sick of the way media interprets shit, but I did listen to the 911 call because it was the only raw data of the encounter. Now whether anything she said was true or not - I haven't read any followup reports.
