I feel that Jaime is going south to end his sister. Only time will tell. As for my incomplete thoughts on episode 4, posted above....this guy says it better. https://www.theringer.com/game-of-t...rones-season-8-euron-greyjoy-rhaegal-scorpion
It’s been telegraphed he doesn’t love her like he once did. It started after jofferys death. With the mage’s prophecy of the valanquar (brother) killing her I think he’s the obvious choice to kill her because Tyrion, with more reasons to do so, is too obvious. We shall see. I think he was just intentionally mean to breinne so she didn’t talk him out of leaving. That close up of her blubbering was uncomfortable.
I don’t think any dragons make it out alive. I think they know the audience loves them, so they have to go.
I think there’s more coming. I think they had babies in Mereen and Liam Neeson will come riding in on one, leading a Flying V of them.
I thought the whole Arya stark prophecy meant she was going to kill Cersei. Brown eyes, blue eyes, green eyes. Cersei has green eyes.
All of her Red God mentors (Cerio, Jacken, The Brotherhood, and at a distance Milisandre) all aided/guided her towards killing the Night King. Millisandre told her (paraphrasing) “I see the Kings you will kill” when she met her in the forest.
Despite another lagging season, I am still curious as to what will happen next episode. Did we actually see the”Big One” in episode three, or is the biggest battle on Sunday? Or will some deus ex machine end it early? Those are my two guesses.
I don’t feel like they have enough soldiers left to put up another huge battle. Unless they intend to. And when Bran sent his ravens off, maybe he was sending them to some place on the map we forgot about? Are there any groups of people left who have beef with the Lannisters?
Dani has lots of people in Essos. Dorne and the Iron Islands could join, the Vale, the Stormlands now that what’s his name is in charge there. Maybe Bran sent for more Children Of The Forest and their holy hand grenades. Perhaps all the ragtag groups unite. Who knows.
Pretty much the entire realm, isn't it? I don't get how Cersei would be able to rule even if she did win the war against Dany. Her only ally in Westeros at this point is splitting his forces with Asha, who should be sailing back to the iron islands to try to take the Seastone chair from him. Some of the houses (Tyrell, Baratheon) are totally exhausted, but I have no idea what's happening with Dorne over the last two seasons. Who is ruling there now? Anyone? They should still be able to field a sizeable army.
It's been shown the producers don't care about realistic logistics of army sizes, placement, strategy, or tactics. Given that they're trying to wrap up the series in 6 episodes this season I really don't see them bringing back long written off, or ignored, houses or plot lines. Bringing back Dorne would feel very dues ex machina at this point given they killed off everyone in the already established leadership of that kingdom, but then again that type of move is exactly what D&D would do. Im holding out hope Dany has some swift decapitation trick left up her sleeve like her victories in Essos. I could see a commoner uprising in the capital. Cercai destroying the Sept of Baylor with the noble families in it was the last action I think GRRM had a major hand in influencing. Destroying the major house of faith in the entire country can't sit well with the little people. I can also see Cersai repeating the Mad King's wild fire plot and having Jaime come in and save the day in similar fashion.
Well, shit. I can honestly say I didn't see that coming. So the question is now, who's going to kill Khaleesi?
Yes there is an obvious choice, but the writers appear to be trying as hard as they can to ruin this show in the last season. If that's the case, they can't go with the person that makes the most sense. Who makes the least sense? What would infuriate the fans the most? What would a pair of incompetent storytellers do? Spoiler Spoiler Seriously though, I'll bet the end of the last episode reveals that the whole series was just the weird kid in the wheelchair daydreaming while staring into a snowglobe.
You mean the Rubble Pile? ...So they just went and fucking killed everything. Like, scorched earth motherfucker. There weren’t as many “safe deaths” this time. Hound & Mountain: Highlander (Connery vs. Clancy Brown). Like, uncanny. Arya: Gangs Of New York. Like, uncanny. Dani: her dad. Only way worse.
