Littlefinger says to Varys that his informant (Roz), who Varys had promised to protect, had been given to Littlefinger's "friend" (Joffrey) who was eager for a new experience (torturing/killing someone).
Yeah he didn't flat out say "I gave my hooker, your informant, to Joffery so he can torture and kill her." But he alludes to it when talking with Varys. We didn't get to see Danni any this episode, don't really know where she is going to go from here. After she got her army she's just been walking and her top aides are sort of bickering.
Correct. Littlefinger was pissed because Varys had convinced one of his girls to figuratively stab him in the back. Ros's death was a reminder to Varys to watch out and also gave Littlefinger some bonus points w/ Joffrey for finding him a victim for his snuff fantasies.

It just shows how cutthroat Littlefinger really is. Up until now it seems like its been a game of covert intel and alliances and information with him, but that showed his true colors.
I really didn't it see it coming that Ygritte was going to be that girl that you really wanted to be with and then instantly regret it the moment you do.
From the Mockingbird on the sails, that was Littlefinger's ship leaving the capital (who she turned down leaving with to marry Loras)
Tyrion acted it out pretty well, but in the books he REALLY feels sorry for Sansa having to marry him.
You can tell he feels sorry for her. She's so friggin doe-eyed and I think that is endearing to him. In past scenes he's come off as a kindly uncle or something and now he has to marry her. At least he'll be nice to her. I mean of all the shitty, shitty things happening in the story right now, that is probably the one with the nicest outcome.
Olenna has to be my favourite character on the show now. She has gone toe to toe with the shrewdest minds in the city and left them choked on their words, even Tywin doesn't intimidate her in the least and she always has the last word. The longer she's around the better.
She's very sharp, but her performance this episode didn't change the facts. For all her boldness and poise, Tywin perfectly outmaneuvered her and checkmated control of Highgarden. I will say I'm mostly enjoying the small changes. Certain momentous events are all but guaranteed to happen, but I enjoy the entertainment of being kept on my toes by events that vary from the books. That is, until some asshole on a certain kind of sharing website posts Spoiler "OMG this episode Tywin got killed by a shadow baby!" Which thankfully didn't happen because that would have been fucking awful. And maybe it's because I was high when I watched, but this episode didn't do a lot for me. Ygritte threatening to go all Lorena Bobbitt on Jon out of left field, Melisandre's scene was weird though that might just be because she's such a good actress she's giving me the creeps. Arya seemed almost like a caricature of herself in her scenes.
Give the crippled kid a three eyed raven scene in the first episode, then maybe one more scene in the last episode. At this point they are pointless.
I realize a good chunk is the writing and the storyline, but anyone else think Emilia Clarke is killing it this season? She's really owned Dany's transformation and every scene with her is engaging as hell. Cool as fuck and confident when she needs to be, even when uncertain. Just awesome to watch. And I can hardly watch these Theon scenes anymore, they are just uncomfortable as FUCK.
And this is what sets George Martin apart. Even when the bad guys (Jaime, Theon) get some modicum of what is coming to them (and what you thought you were rooting for) all of a sudden something happens and you feel some sympathy for these guys. That's amazing writing.
Yeah her parts have been brief but awesome. Nice to see some actual Charlie Chaplin granddaughter ass that is not a stunt butt. Tywin lording over the king was awesome but scares me to think the little idiot my try to rid the show of one of it's primary badasses. This season has been awesome and I have a feeling it's going to end with me dying to fucking see what's next.
The best part of the Dany story is the fact they cut out ALL the bullshit with Jorah being smitten kitten with her, her deciding if she can be attracted to him or not, and her deciding whether or not if it is okay to have sex again. The WORST part missing is her hooking up with her Dothraki handmainden.
