But she was a fucking hooooooooo'ier. Joffery did execute his fiancé's father right in front of her. The show has been pretty close to The Mountain's role from the book, which is, there isn't too much. Lots of reports of him terrorizing villages from commoners pleading in front of the king/hand. They give a little bit more detail on the event where he burned his brother's face that's about it. I don't remember the books (1st or 2nd) ever really going very deep into their family's history. I think it was Bronn in the first book who had a good line during the battle Tyrion is knocked out for during the show mentioning how much archers would love a huge target like The Mountain riding through a battle.
I was talking to my friend today and we yakked about how much we liked season three. So I asked "I want nothing given away, but from what I hear the third book is so awesome that the great shit still hasn't happened." He replies "You have noooooooooooooooooooo idea. So awesome you'll pee your pants." GOD. DAMMIT. Why couldn't they make a 20 episode super-season for the whole book? Why dangle us on a hook like this?
He still thinks his father is Robert Baratheon. Who was legendary for being a manwhore... Not actual, incest loving father. FTFY

I believe I know the 2 you are thinking of and I say we have to bump it to 3 if only for the satisfaction that first one will give us, all from some mussed hair.

I know i am alot late to the game, i watched the first season as it was coming out. And just got busy and never had a chance to watch the 2nd or 3rd, thou i had them downloaded. Just finished the second season and had a question. When the 20 Greyjoy men were at Winterfel, they were surrounded by the 500 men. Then at the end of the episode Winterfel was burnt to the ground the the 2 Stark boys and there group were heading north. What happened to the 20 Greyjoy men and the 500 that had them surrounded?
You'll find out in season three. Though it is kind of subtly and drawn out during the 3rd season if you don't catch on to the storyline of Theon. They kind of left it up in the air in the show. They make it much more clear in book two.
So huge fucking exciting thing I learned. This is a little meta, but whatever. Fact: Breaking Bad is an awesome fucking show. Fact: Michelle MacLaren directed some of Breaking Bad's most intense, OMFG episodes of that show. Michelle MacLaren is directing two episodes of Game of Thrones coming up. I'm so fucking excited I could pee. This chick knows what she's doing. I wouldn't be surprised if he two episodes are the best of the season.
Thanks. I figured the book was more clear. I just thought they might have given a hint to what was going on. Just they were there, then they weren't, and that 2 boys and the group didn't know what was going even thou they were in the tombs.
New excerpt from Winds of Winter released on George RR Martin's website. Also, season four starts April 6th. Any hopes and dreams for it?
Film director Neil Marshall will be directing episode 9 this season. The only one he's done for this show was 2-09 "Blackwater" so prepare to see some SHIT.
Well, I mentioned this before, but the way this second half goes, there is no "Episode 9 is the big one!" There are at least 2 "OMFG" moments, and 3 "OMG OMG OMG" moments. So, don't casually watch episode 3.
