Simple one -- Brady or Ryan. Gronk out, Amendola likely in. Weather could potentially be shitty for Brady. Matchups are a toss-up in my mind. My gut says Ryan...any thoughts?
Definitely Ryan, regardless of his record, he's still got the 3rd highest yards throughout the season and he's got a better matchup against the Jets than Brady does against the Bengals.
Good god my team this week... I thought going into the week I was fucked. I was without Calvin Johnson and Ridley, my RB1 and my WR1. Then the games happened. My score so far: Romo - 49.22 points Hakeem Nicks - 19.7 Alshon Jeffrey - 38.8 TY Hilton - 29.5 Eddie Lacy - 10.2 Mendenhall - 12 Jimmy Graham - 19.5 Current total: 178.92. Oh, and I still have Atlanta's defense and kicker against the Jets. My opponent is sitting at 79 points. Points on my bench: 0, because they are ALL injured or on bye. This team has been getting fucking destroyed on a weekly basis, and they just went off. While I am enjoying it now, I will be super pissed when this same team gets me 60 points next week.
So who has two thumbs and left both Alshon Jeffery and Terrance Williams on his bench today? Fuckin 'A... Thankfully I also had Romo and Arizona's D, so I'm still winning by a sizable margin. But man... I could've had a new high league score.
P.S. Fuck Lamar Miller. Benched him the first week after a goose egg, figured I'd see if he bounced back with a little consistency. Weeks 2-4, he produced 12, 6 & 12 pts., respectively. So I figure he's safe to slip in at flex for a few points... yep, a single lousy point. Should have tried to trade him last week when he was performing. I need 27 points out of Ryan and Bryant tonight. It's certainly doable, just not a sure thing.
I've got Julius Thomas and Gronk. I've been offered Luck for Thomas. Considering my only other QB option right now is Pryor, I'm considering it. Thoughts?
My QB has a bye week so I picked up Cutler in his absence. Am I an absolute fool for rolling the the combo of Cutler/Marshall/Alshon against the horrible Giants D this week? Other WR options are Colston and Josh Gordon.
Pick one, 1/2 pt. PPR: Greg Jennings vs. Carolina Vincent Brown vs. Indy Andre Johnson (banged up, game time decision, Schaub sitch) vs. STL
Vincent Brown. I doubt Johnson plays and if he does he might not even have Schaub throwing the ball. Minny is in the same boat with Cassel playing unless freeman gets stuck in or ponder. Rivers has thrown for 400+ twice this season and he will air it out again this week.
Jordy Nelson, who has been a machine, home against Cleveland with basically nobody else to draw coverage? Or Justin Blackmon, home against San Diego, who only has a two game history this season to look at? Plus, it's, you know, the fucking Jaguars? This may all be moot of Calvin Johnson is still having knee problems on Sunday, in which case Blackmon will ride my flex spot.
I'd bench Johnson regardless of his status and play both Nelson and Blackmon. You have two WR1 with almost no one else to throw to against a guy who hasn't posted anything for two weeks in a row and who still might not be 100%.
Damn injuries. Week 7, need 2 (10 yards = 1 point rush/rec, 1 catch = 0.5 points) CJ Spiller at Miami Chris Johnson vs SF Joseph Randle at Philadelphia Zac Stacy at Carolina Thoughts?
Here is my lineup that I am not sure about, bench in parenthesesis. QB - Cutler (Ryan) RB - A. Foster, C. Johnon (B. Powell, F. Jackson, P. Thomas) WR - B. Marshall, J Gordon (A. Jeffery, M. Colston) TE - Martellus Bennett D/ST - Dolphins K - Gostkowski Recommendations
