I think that Antonio Brown should be in your lineup, especially if your league counts return yards. None of your other options look totally appealing, but I'd plug in James Jones in this case. By the way, that's a sick team you have there.
I need 9 pts on Monday. I have one receiver spot left and Brandon Marshall or Plaxico to fill it. Who would you guys pick?
Marshall. No matter what the QB situation, dude is a beast. He is gonna be a play maker and a #1 option compared to Plaxico who is a 3rd or 4th option.
Yeah, that is what I was thinking but I didn't like that he said he will probably get thrown out in the 2nd quarter and that he is facing Revis.
I would go against him just because of how insane he's been acting this week, too. I'm down by 7 points tonight. I have the Jets D left to play, my opponent has the Miami TE. Gonna go down to the wire.
Who should I start? Jackie Battle or Willis McGahee. Battle had 19 carries for 119 yards and caught two passes for 21 yards in week 5 against the Colts. I had planned on starting him with Ray Rice, but then i noticed McGahee was available. Now I'm not so sure..
Sidney Rice or Jordy Nelson? I'm leaning towards Rice because I think he is higher up the food chain on his team, but Nelson is doing a lot better than I thought he would in fantasy. Thoughts? My running backs are facing the steelers, ravens, and lions. Fuck that shit.
Does Jordy usually line up slot or outside? Vikings' outside coverage has been surprisingly decent but they're getting killed up the middle because their safeties are terrible coverage guys. Looking up Cleveland's defensive stats they're #4 in passing yards, #17 in yards per attempt, and tied with a bunch of other teams at #12 in receiving TD's given up (8).
For some stupid reason NFL.com left my kicker on the bench even though I subbed him in last night. He's scored 11 points and I'm winning by 20. He's got Rodgers. This is stressful.
Coming to you guys for validation. I just made a trade in my league which I think benefitted me, but my friend thought it was stupid. I give up: Tim Tebow and Santonio Holmes I get: Mike Wallace I already have Brady and Fitzpatrick and had grabbed tebow off the waivers last week (two qb league) because they both had byes. He had a good game but I don't trust him like I do brady and fitzy. I hate Holmes as a player and in fantasy. I needed a WR and I got one of the best. So now my team is: Brady Fitzpatrick Stephen jackson Darren sprolles Megatron Mike wallace Jackie battle Jason witten Hansen Rotating d's. I think I can make a run at the title with this trade and I'm excited.
So I have Ray Rice and RunDMC for my RBs. DMC is hurt and on a bye this week. I picked up Jackie Battle as a FA because my backup RB, Mark Ingram is doubtful for this week. Is Battle decent to start, or should I keep searching through FAs for a different RB?
Ingram's out this week. I think Battle is a solid start because he'll get the majority of touches. I'm in the same boat with having DMC on bye. What other FA's are available outside of Battle?
I would agree...Battle is find for bye-week replacement. He's not going to light it up necessarily, but he should put up some points for you. PPR flex spot: Michael Jenkins, Jabar Gaffney, or Jermaine Gresham?
Here's basically the best of what's left: Ben Tate Montario Hardesty Bernard Scott Delone Carter Tim Hightower Dexter McCluster C.J. Spiller Earnest Graham Danny Woodhead Thomas Jones Jamaal Charles Stevan Ridley Carnell Williams Tashard Choice Marion Barber Also, who would you guys start: Stafford and his bad wheel against Denver, or Fitzpatrick against Washington?
Yeah, I'd say you want Battle out of those options. If you were really concerned, the only other guys I'd consider would be Delone Carter or Bernard Scott, but either one of those guys would make me very very nervous. If he starts, I'd go with Stafford. That team has to throw to win with no running game to speak of, and throw they will against a pretty bad Denver Defense. In fact, I might even start Shaun Hill if Stafford is out come Sunday.
Aside from who Ton80 mentioned, the only other guy I'd really consider is Hardesty. Hillis is probably missing another week, so at the very least, you know he'll be getting the majority of the carries. The matchup against SF awful, but if Hillis is out he'll probably wind up with the highest number of carries. By a lot.
Undecided in my lineup: 2RB 2WR 1Flex My Options: Beanie Wells Chris Johnson, Ten RB James Starks, GB RB Jackie Battle, KC RB Michael Bush, Oak RB Greg Jennings, GB WR Julio Jones, Atl WR Mario Manningham, NYG WR Right now, I am benching Chris Johnson. At the moment my lineup is: RB: Beanie Wells , Ari RB RB: Michael Bush, Oak RB (McFadden doesn't look likely to play this week.) Flex: Julio Jones, Atl WR WR: Greg Jennings, GB WR WR: Mario Manningham, NYG WR Any Suggestions? I could also pick up Breaston who's playing Miami. But I'm still unsure, he hasn't really put up big numbers this season.
PPR or non-PPR? If you are in a PPR league, your lineup seems good to me. If DMC plays, you should roll with Battle as your RB2, since it looks like he is the guy there. Non-PPR, maybe roll with Battle as the flex? That seems like a toss-up to me.
