Well, thank God and jeebus in heaven that Hoarders isn't fake.

Behold the cat lady with a freezer full of dead cats. And about 500 pounds of cat shit sitting on her floor and kitchen counter.

Fuck Amish Mafia. Amish Mafia is in this woman's fridge, turning gelatinous inside a ziplock bag.

Some people should simply be put down. What a disgrace. Is there even a psychological diagnosis for that level of loserness?

Of course the one you want to be fake, is this shit that makes me feel itchy after seeing those "homes". I only watched this show a few times because it is disgusting.

So my arm is actually starting to concern me. It looks like I've been lifting weights / masturbating exclusively with my left arm. I will soon no longer be able to wear my watch. It seems someone in a higher authority than me is not on team keflex. Then again for all the time I've spent in hospitals and clinics, what are the odds that I'm not colonized with MRSA?

With my dying breath, I curse Kuhjager.

The death of history/national geographics/discovery channels was the most depressing entertainment catastrophe of the 2000s for me. Those three channels made up most of what I watched on tv. Now all I can stand on any of those channels is pawn stars. The universe is ok, but I've so lost faith in anything they put out I can't consider even that reliable. Now I don't watch much television outside of sports, but let's face it, most of what's out there has always sucked. Ever tried to watch any old shows? They're god awful sit coms that would make Friendberg and Seltzer blush, with a few gems like the Twilight Zone sprinkled in. At least CNN makes a half assed attempt at being unbiased with Anderson Cooper and Burnett. Journalism is dying these days. Nobody buys newspaper and instead of integrity based, objective reporting we get screaming shout casters and shock value. Get off my lawn.

I still read the newspaper and have taken a surprising amount of flack for it on here. No news source is 100% reliable, but I find newspapers more reliable than what TV news has become. Some of you may think that newspapers are crap, but TV news is crap concentrate.

That's like saying, "I like country music and have taken a surprising amount of flack for it. Some of you may think that country music is crap, but baroque is crap concentrate."

There are a couple of good newspapers, but TV and newspapers aren't even close to the only outlets, or even the good ones. The medium doesn't matter, so I don't give a rat's ass if you read one or not. Quality from wherever matters, including a few from reasoned people with a diametrically opposed viewpoint for balance.

My dad got mrsa from a plane. It was fun. He had to get a huge, horribly painful shot in the ass. Enjoy that.

Bet you will get necrotizing fasciitis.

I got lucky that before I got too swollen/too high a fever I had the red bands going up my arm to tell me "you should probably go to the hospital".

So I managed to reteach myself integral calc in 6 hours last night. Go me.

BBC is your friend. I've been binging on their documentaries. Simon Schama's Power of Art is hands down the best non-fiction series I have ever seen. The production on it is astounding. They've got a half dozen DaVinci specials, a dramatized mini-series on the beginnings of Impressionism (The Impressionists), a series called Timewatch that investigates little known historical events, and hell the list is huge. They also have hard science programming.

    Hit up youtube, snoop around.

ghetto, given that you were already colonized with MRSA, maybe you have AIDS. Or, maybe even SUPER AIDS. That's the only logical explanation of how your colonized MRSA's window of opportunity swung wide open to infect your bod. Happy Tuesday!

Yup, those were the days. At this point, my TV watching is relegated to On Demand - usually Shotime or HBO shows, very little sports, and movies.

I've been trying BBC for the news, and that's pretty good.

    Now, it's That Loser Channel.

I've been watching a lot of The History Channel, H2, and Military History. The Last Days of WWII is pretty good, as is Wermacht (sp?).
