When my parents met for the first time, they both lied about their age to each other. My mom was 16 and said she is 18 and my dad was 18 and said he is 20. I don't know how long before they confessed, but I assume (hope) reasonably soon thereafter. Either way, they are still happily together. On the spectrum of things to lie about, age is not the end of the world (although, the fact that she continued to lie for 4 years is a slight problem). A lot of teenage girls lie about their age (similar to guys in bars that lie about their jobs). I assume her 18 year old self thought you wouldn't date her if she told you her correct age, and then it kind of spiraled out of control because you kept dating. Bad? Kind of. But if it's an isolated incident fueled by 18 year old stupidity, whatever. People lie about a lot more hurtful and important things.

I may not have life plans like Ballsack, but let it be noted that I won a $400 table tennis game after drinking a bottle of rum.

Oh please. You don't have the slightest fucking clue what you'd do. This is like me telling an astronaut, "you know, if I were having trouble docking to the space station..."

I don't think it's as completely off the wall as people are saying. Yes, it's dumb she didn't come clean as soon as they were in a serious relationship, but I'm sure she just felt helpless to do anything once it got past a certain point.

Pretty much all I've managed to do today is drink coffee and stuff myself into a food coma with Indian food. Hoping to get myself outside this afternoon, since tomorrow is going to be football and beer all day. Plus, I'm not stuck driving a Jetta, so there's that.

If you're really looking to save cash why not get a pair of scooters? Go all the way, and spend the money you save elsewhere.

One of my uncles and I were discussing this last night. There are way too many people who are either living outside their means or at least blowing money unnecessarily. He had brought up seeing someone driving an A6 Supercharged V8 the other day, 8-gear, luxury package, blah blah. That is a shitton of money that could easily go towards any of the things you mentioned, rather than contributing to insurance increases and traffic tickets every time you even begin to access the power that thing has under the hood. Fucking pointless.

With something in the neighborhood of 8 military bases/installments on this single island, we see a TON of this around here. People reup on their enlistment, get a bonus, and blow it all in one fell swoop instead of, I dunno, paying the mortgage on a house, or saving for retirement, or any number of smart decisions.

I spent $7000 on a car this year... and I own it outright. I really don't understand car payments.

OK you no longer do cocaine, you're trading in your BMW, you got all introspective the other day, and you're no longer a lawyer.

WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU AND WHERE IS BALLSACK? You're still racist, right?

Anyone else going to be a good lemming and watch the NHL today? I'd sworn strongly I wouldn't watch a game. But here I am, watching the pre-game, borderline excited. Its a moral defeat of utmost insignificance.

I got my cars outright too, but honestly if I were single I'd go into debt for a better ride. The cheap car thing is still acceptable in you're early 20s, not so much when you're 30.

Admittedly, there are only so many things you can do with the collective $37.58 of wealth in Kansas.

If this is the case, probably should take and post more ass shots while it is still in its heyday.

I'd so much rather buy things I enjoy than transportation. I was looking at the new Subaru Impreza hatchbacks - nice cars, took one for a drive, started looking at payments... then I realized that I could spend $25k on a car, or buy 2-3 awesome vacations.

I get not driving a $1200 junker that's rusting to pieces, but if the "single" reference was in terms of it not being acceptable to women, I'm not sure if I want to get involved with a woman who's too high-maintenance to date someone driving a reasonable $6-10k used car.
